A mile of the MMP

Could she be, ah, visiting a friend?

My moment of crudity has killed the MMP.
Oh, the shame!

It was only 9 degrees this morning. I worked, walked the dog ,and went Krogering for some chicken for dinner tonight.

I saw one of those running oval stickers that said:
27.1
(I got lost)
Hope you didn’t lose any digits to frostbite, sticky.

“Do unto others, then split!”

Midget, maybe call the police?

I’m guessing **FCD **got pulled into a late meeting, since he’s not home and he hasn’t called. I’s hongree!! Hope he calls or shows up soonly.

I got in touch with my roommate. So now I know she still exists. Yay!

Well, his brrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnssssssss were mighty tasty…

:stuck_out_tongue:

Leftovers have been ingested and the kitchen has been cleaned up. I cleaned it up myself just so I can say I haven’t been a total sloth today.

I am still alive. I am feeling a little better. I think I will go to irk tomorrow and just avoid everyone. I have plenty to do but don’t want to make anyone else sick. I cannot afford for anyone else to be out.

That’s 2 missing folks!

I survived my 3 doctors appointments. I received more needle sticks than a person ought (botox and other numbing stuffs for the migraines, plus vaccinations).

I shall shortly leave for the airport to return home to the land of ice and snow. School was cancelled today for the kiddos. I got the text 5 minutes before the bus was supposed to pick up 'Beamer. (I wasn’t on duty. Still they were cutting it a little close.)

Bass ackwards is about a wild as I get at the moment.

Happy Moanday all.

I was right - late meeting. I’d pulled sketty sauce out of the freezer, so when he got home, I nuked the sauce and boiled the angel hair. Supper has been ingested.

No dessert, tho, dammit. :frowning:

I’m glad your roommate turned up,emily.

Yay on feeling better, butters! (try saying that three times fast :stuck_out_tongue: )

Clothes are in the dryer, the floors have been vaccuumed and leftover quiche for supper.

Butters glad you’re feelin’ better.

Midget yay for found roommate.

I’s sleepified. Who knew so much sloth would be so tiresome! OK, I did have to purtify to go to the doc and actually leave da cave, but still, it’s not like I had to walk there and back.

Yum! We had vegetable beef soup for dinner this evening, such a good night for it, it was about 14 degrees today.

I forgot to leave my shower dripping this morning and now she’s frozen. Sigh. It should warm up enough tomorrow to unfreeze. Thank the gods for pex pipe.

Hello.

I wanted to thank you all for reminding me that I had some frozen beef veggie soup available. I had forgotten I tucked it into the freezer until I read your soup postings. Since I also have a nice half baguette that I can rehydrate, supper is now a done deal.

Yum!

Why does pex pipe melt easily?

A fool and his money are a girl’s best friend.

I make good soup too! It’s my favoritest thing to make. Just sayin’.

Sunny, there’s still some good train stores in Portland. I get most of my stuff off the interwebz these days, but the one’s I used to hang out at were/are Tammies Hobbies in Beaverton (12024 SW Canyon Rd), Whistle Stop Trains (11724 SE Division St, Portland) and occasionally Mainline Trains (2000 NE 42nd Ave, Portland).
Vic’s Hobbies, my favorite shop, has, sadly, closed.

Boofey and Butters, get better!

Are you Mrs. Plant v.2.0?

:dubious:

Rainy icky Moanday here. Magic Internet pizza, with side order of magic Internet giant chocolate chip cookie, over here.

Happy Monday. I think.

It’s been slow at irk, but it’s normal. The board members don’t like to work over the holidays and there’s usually an increase in violators, but those take a few weeks to catch up. So until things pick back up, it’s slow.

Tomorrow, we’re having a potluck lunch for one of the managers, who is going on maternity leave. I made the world’s laziest chicken corn soup. I teased the meat off a rotisserie chicken, threw in some mirepoix and frozen corn, and topped it off with chicken stock, the kind that comes in the paper carton. Chop some boiled eggs and throw in some noodle bits, if you don’t want to make rivels. Serves however many and I’ll have chicken soup smell filling my cubicle until lunchtime.

Yay from down south!!!
