How may I be delicate about this?
Ahem.
How old is your son, 'Taters?

Maybe her son is part cat. You know how cats go through TP
Doggio, where’s the wedding? There’s a township in Grand Cayman called Hell. They sell (sold?) shirts there that say, “Get married in Hell, you’ll go thru it anyway” with three people on the shirt, the Bride, the Groom, & the officiant, who just happens to be the Devil. With today’s temps…
Taters, that settles it, take the job the old boss was offering; if you run out of TP again, you can go to Costco, or I seem to remember a place thataways that has a really big supply; Mooommmm’s.
I’m sure that’s it.
:dubious:
LOL! My son is 19, no need to be delicate.
I have a Costco not even two miles from my house. If I hadn’t been wheedled into picking up the ingredients for what my husband is cooking tonight, I would have gone to Costco and got the industrial sized pack. I had to settle for the 24 pack with the idea that I’ll head to Costco tomorrow or maybe next weekend.
We spoke with MiL just a bit ago. She requested the food be somewhat soft because her dentures are bothering her.
All I can think of at the moment is maybe some Death Chicken (I make mine with thighs), because that’s pretty soft. Any other suggestions that include meat?
ETA: And, no way do I want to live over there in the Oven of the United States. When I talked to my old boss yesterday he told me it was 100 degrees. Blech! I don’t DO hot.
Home.
Tired.
Eat.
Surf.
Sleep.
Awaken.
Eat.
Commute.
Work again.
Attempt longer sentences.
Have some coffee before you try that last one.
Tuna casserole, quiche, spaghetti?
Remembering my experience of being a 19 year old son, you might buy more hand towels instead of toilet paper.
It was at Tucker House, an mansion in the old money section of town. It went well ,apart from it being 106. The groom was pretty blitzed; I told the bride "The longest sentence in the English language is ‘I do.’ "
Also, I’m house sitting for my “just friend”:), since she took her grandson(my little hockey buddy) to see Great-grandma. I now have my own key to her place.
glad everybody survived the storms.
Taters, no TP?[sup]100[/sup] : passes out from the Vapors :
Point of order, Spaz, it’s my English that’s showing! I’m English first and British second…
I am up and have already been productive - went downstairs to make a lovely English cuppa and put the dishes away from last night, then decided while the kettle was boiling that I should empty the drawer where the saucepans live and clean the base of the drawer. After that, and my restorative cup of tea, I have changed the bedding and put that on to wash.
I think brekkie will be next, then vacuuming and ironing, and if the rain holds off I might get outside to weed the borders around the drive. Domestic Goddess, thy name is BooFae!
Good Morning Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 78 Amurrkin out already with a predicted high of 102 and a heat index of 115. After yestiddy today will be a do as little as possible day and will not involve bein’ outside. Except the smoker needs cleanin’. Le Sigh.
Also today is brunch day at the church house followin’ deheathenization. On top of that we have a Parish Meetin’ to discuss well, church stuff with the Parish. Oh Joy! Topics include an update on what is goin’ on with the proposed idea of the Lutherans joinin’ up with us and how to better utilize space for the choir, nursery and children’s church. As a Vestry member I get to listen to ideas, gripes and field questions. Envy me.
I’ll probably need a nappypoo afterwards.
Now I need more caffiene and should fine sustenance for rumbly tummy. Purtification for deheathenization must also happen at some point.
Happy Sunday Y’all!
ETA: BooFae go you domestic goddess you!
Beef Goulash, chili con carne, thick-n-hearty chicken soup?
Or you could make something more extremely hot-weather appropriate; I’m thinkin’ milkshakes!
Waking up, caffeinating. Caffienating. Cafinating.
Whatever.
Drinking iced tea & lemonade, which is my drink of choice. I go through 5-10 large fast food soft drink cups a day, which is my cup of choice.
Looked at my hours this week. After today I’ll top out right around 70 hours, which I don’t do often. Gotta grab OT while its around 'cause several times a year they declare ‘no ot whatsoever’ and they mean it.
Here’s to a quiet day.
Dude, looks like you need some coffee…
(FTR, if we’re going to make a verb of it, it should be caffeinating – so you got it right the first time; it’s just your self-doubts that got you in the end! :))
whaddaya mean “if”, Echod? We’ve been using that verb for ages now.
I was more interested in ribbing **2gig **about his self esteem than in getting the conditional tenses just so…
Had blueberry pancakes for breakfast. Yum. Didn’t have buttermilk, so I used a combination of Greek yogurt and milk. Regular yogurt and milk is better, I think, but nephew gobbled 7, so I guess they were OK.
Getting ready to go into the heat to watch the bike race. Back later…
Hugs.
