Uh, they start with picking up The Rugrat and FutureDiL? from the Bawlmer airport tomorrow morning. Firday will be a down day, cuz the kid will be getting on the plane almost straight from irk, and we wanna let him get his ugly sleep.
Saturday we will take FutureDiL? to a local farm where she can groove on the zebras. She has a thing for zebras.
Sunday was supposed to be a trip to DC to do the Georgetown Flea Market, but the impending heat wave has endangered that. VWife has issues with extreme temperatures. Bunz, she also has Raynaud’s Syndrome, but AFAIK it has not affected her nipples.
Monday-? Probably going fishing.
Tuesday, they go back to Indiannoplace. 
The rest of the week: beats the hell out of me. I want to do as little as possible.
The questionmark in FutureDiL? is not a mistake. She has the record for the longest running girlfriend he’s ever had, and there are no signs I know of of them splitting. Getting hitched is a ways off, because she still has 3 years of college ahead of her. She started out studying to be a translator, but has switched to nursing. Good girl 
That is an INCREDIBLE combination! I imagine she could write her own ticket with those skills - years of hospital work then BAM! a cushy federal position to ride out her days.

I’ll say this for irk. It’s cool here in the orifice. It’s HAWT outside. Thus, it’s probably better to be inside at irk today. Or not. The pool would feel good also. However, here I am, so here I shall remain. Le Sigh.

It’s cool inside the house and hot and sweaty outside hereabouts. I donned a bathing suit for my yardworking and I’m glad I did. I started by watering my 'maters - doggone, do I have a huge crop for having only 3 plants!
Then I took the last of the grass seed and spread it around the bare spots on the lawn. Shortly thereafter, I had to chase away a flock of guinea fowl who decided my seeds were their nosh. Stoopit birds. Once I got the sprinkler set up and running, I dug up more rocks that edged gardens that I’m getting rid of, and I finished edging my front garden. It still needs some weeding. Who am I kidding - it always needs some weeding - but I got a lot of the stray grass and tree seedlings yanked out. The assorted daylilies are gorgeous - my mom gave me some really pretty ones and they’re all blooming this year. Yay!!
Once I put away my workin’ in the yard toys, I showered and dressed in real clothes, and suddenly remembered that I had to scoop the cat box. My daughter called - she and the granddog are coming over within an hour or so. Then **FCD **called - our boat is going back in the water today, so I need to meet him at the marina after work so we can move it back to our slip. And I got the bill from the boat yard - it was about $400 lower than I expected, and definitely well worth it to have them paint the bottom.
Yesterday I was looking at pics on line of the flooding in the Jacksonville area from Debby - I knew some of those areas quite well - I should, since we lived there something like 18 years! Yet again, I’m glad I no longer live in FL!
OK, gotta attack the mess that is the kitchen. I kinda didn’t do dishes last night and the kitchen fairies didn’t show up overnight, so I guess it’s on me. Stoopit kitchen fairies.

Because I know you’re all interested, I was up at 4:15 this morning (although my alarm was set for 4:45 I woke up early) and took a shower then. Seeing as swampy has short hair I can’t expect him to understand what it’s like to try to sleep with wet hair. 
Ok, so I just have to share this with someone… My mom had some surgical procedures done and her insurance covered part of it and they wanted her to come up with a payment plan to pay for the remaining balance. What they wanted her to pay monthly was completely ridiculous. I mean, if you were paying that much on buying a new car every month you’d have a pretty nice car. Well, she told them that it was out of the question and they accepted her offer. And the person that she was talking to on the phone said this: We hope you’ll remain healthy in the future otherwise we’ll have to increase your payment amount. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: :smack::smack::dubious:
Really? I mean, I realize that what she’s saying is true but there have to be at least a few ways to say that which don’t make you sound like a total jackass. It’s not as if everything is in our control where our health is concerned.

I think I’d be tempted to find out where that insurance company’s headquarters is, go there and find a way to slip on sump’n in the lobby. I’d writhe and scream in agony about their carelessness. That would take care of any current and future medical costs. Idiots. :mad:
Quercus there’s usually a sequential thread titles thread open in MPSIMS for sequential thread title amusement. However, postin’ it here is just fine. I was highly amused.
On the homefront, I have been told I am bein’ taken out for Mexican victuals tonight. Works for me! It’s too hawt to cook and dindin was gonna be last night’s leftovers anyway. So, Mexican food and a margarita are in my foreseeable future. WOOHOO!!!
