Ogbligatroy dkrnune psot… I lveo yuo gyus!
CPAPs and stuffed noses don’t really mix.
I bowled a 22, and am now in a bowling league.:dubious: Everybody went to Chilli’s afterwards, I had the chicken tacos.
Dotty, not all men act like 2 year olds. I act like a four year old.
“22”? Even on my worst days, I broke 50!
I blame my balls.
They got in the way?
Holes were drilled to big, gotta go custom.
I can’t sleep! Wah! i thought I took my sleeping pill, but I took a muscle relaxant instead. (I went ahead and took my sleeping pill too. It’s ok, I’ve done it before.) Plus a fight with Mr Rebo has got me all hyped up. Of course, he’s sleeping like a baby. Hmph.
Dogbutler - A custom bowling ball is the only way to go. Learn fingertip bowling, not full finger. You have more control and strength behind the ball. (I used to bowl - a lot - up until 5 years ago. I got burned out, but I was pretty good there for a while.) And get your own shoes!
Pie - have you tried Claritin for the stuffed nose? (Not claritin D! That raised my blood pressure.)
Gonna go surf - I hope I get sleepy soon.
Good morning all! Up and not quite caffeinating yet. I’ve got chocolate chip muffins in the oven, so I’m waiting for them to get all baked before making my coffee. And speaking of coffee, yesterday I decided to give something called cold brewed coffee a try. The resulting coffee drink came out very smooth and tasty, but it was -a lot- of trouble to go through. You start with a container or jar with a lid, put the ground coffee and water in there, stir and let it sit for 3-4 hours or even overnight. Then you have to strain it out, and it took 3-4 strainings to get only most of the grounds out. I used a fine wire mesh strainer; I could have used cheesecloth if I’d had some (LOL). I also thought about using one of the regular coffee filters but I’m wondering if that would have worked very well. Oh yes, you need another container as well, when you’re straining the coffee grounds out. I was very pleased at the taste of the finished coffee, though. I added a bit of water, heated it in the microwave, then added my milk and sugar, boy it was smooth. If I ground the coffee myself, I could grind it medium coarse and maybe that would help out with the filtering process. Hmm…
Hope Rebo finally got to sleep! Happy Sunday all.
Up, caffeinated, off to work the Friesen 5K.
Happy Sunday, all!
I just witnessed a marriage dissolving on facebook. It isn’t someone that I know well, but there are two kids and two extremely immature adults involved.
In other news, the cinnamon rolls are in the oven and I have made some delightful cream cheese frosting which is just waiting to be slathered on. Yum!
Up - I kinda sorta got to sleep in. I had cats walking on me about 4:30, but I threw them out, shut the door, and went back to sleep till 7 - that was nice. Just took muffins out of the oven - as soon as they cool, breakfast will be served.
The cookout with my coworkers was kinda nice. Long drive, tho - over an hour to get there, and longer comeing home because it was storming big time… till we got to MD - it was bote dry at the house. Weird.
Plans for today? Who knows? Knitting? Chilling? Yeah, that works.
Happy Sunday, all!
<not gonna discuss doggio and his balls issues…>
Lazy day today but I am about to tackle the ironing mountain that is currently mocking me from the couch.
Laters…
Off to [del]make hay[/del] mow the yard. So much for Sunday being the day of sloth.
No sloth here either. I just stuck the first load of laundry in the washer - at least 2 more to go, maybe 3…
But I will knit, dammit!!!
A bit foggy here, but otherwise a nice day for the picnic. I’m bringing a chair-in-a-bag in case the benches are too wet.
I’m gonna be good, too. I’m bringing a couple of protein shakes with me so I don’t OD on picnic food.
Yanno, Pie. Sometimes facebook takes TMI to a whole new place. Sorry about your friends, and especially their kids.
22? I’m pretty sure I’ve bowled lower, but it’s been such a long time, I can’t remember (“12” is floating around in the back of my head, but it may have some completely other significance).
Go rosie!
I’ve wanted to try that method, tarra, but it seemed like too much work. Did you buy one of the gadgets that’s made for it or did you use an online recipe?
Gotta get stuff cleaned up around here and then it’s off to church. True excitement…that’s my life.

Good morning! I finally went to bed at 2:00, and slept until 8:00. I just ate a BLT with a fried egg - yummy!
Mr Rebo went back to bed with a [del]hangover[/del] “headache.” Whatever. He was an ass last night, but I didn’t help matters. <sigh> We’ve already made up - so that’s good.
Grocering today, and I’m gonna boil a chicken, and make a chicken pot pie for Sunday dinner.
Good morning everyone. The party we hosted was a success and I even managed to win a $75.00 pot during one our games of 99.
We still have one of our guests sleeping on our sofa. His wife left sometime during the night, or should I say morning, because we didn’t get up to bed until almost 2:00.
Anyway, our guest is still sleeping, which makes clean-up difficult, because I don’t want to disturb him.
I had to take my coffee grinder upstairs to grind my beans for the coffee. Nothing is going to stand in the way of my getting coffee!
Yesterday, we discussed making a dump run today, but I don’t know if that’ll happen. The hubby also wants to get some jeans.
Who knows, we may end up just loafing around the house.
Or the other extreme - we’ve got a couple goldfish in a 10-gallon tank. All we do is change the filter pack once a month and they seem to stay alive and well.
Meanwhile, we feel like we want to curl up and die. But only if I can take the pharmacy clerk with me - she asked if I could wait until Monday or Tuesday to get the Tamiflu because they were out of stock. That stuff HAS to be started within 40 hours of getting sick.
