People, I just picked up this link from the funniest videos thread and it almost made me cry, it’s so funny.

Hee! I love that sketch. I still say “tommy-toes” for tomatoes ever since seeing that one.
I’ve never participated in an MMP, I don’t think. I’m a little scared. Hmm. But I wanted, for some ridiculous reason to tell someone about this, and it doesn’t warrant even it’s own M&P thread… so… well… this is a clip from an email I was going to send my lil’ bro, but then decided not to. I don’t know why.

See, I’ve got this friend, S. He’s really a surreal kind of guy. I like him. He’s got a very longtime girlfriend, a very lovely lady named J. She’s very nice and I like her. [My husband] just called and told me she is pregnant. Woohoo! So that’s all nice. And, so, okay, so S is a really, really tall guy, something like 6’6". Tall hair, too, very pompadour. He’s pretty trim for his size. And J, she’s a very tall girl, something like 6’2". Perfect proportions and everything, she’s just like this awesome, gorgeous supermodel in King Size. They’re a perfect match.
They’re going to have a friggin linebacker. Right? Okay. So.
I wanted to give them a congratulatory card. Hooray! Keeping in the surrealness thread, I dug up some Dr. Suess greeting cards. The Cat in the Hat [Note: Thanks melondeca and the White Elephant exchange!] is on them, tipping his hat to a goldfish in a bowl, and on the front, it says, “How do you do?”
So, inside of this, I wanted to write “oh my god, you are going to have a huge baby”, but I ran out of room in my utter enthusiasm, apparently having written the rest on a blank envelope underneath. In my zeal, what is actually written in the card is this, in huge, scrawling font:
CONGRATULATIONs
OH MY GO
And there’s part of a “D” there that you can see. But not all of it.
This finished product, for some reason, has me in tears of laughter. Is it just me? I’m thinking I should just send it as it is. In very neat, civilised print on the envelope is simply: “To S & J From: Stasia” Somehow, this makes it seem even funnier to me.

I hate making myself laugh. It seems so damn tacky. But it’s making me giggle something awful.
