There was / is a famous and extremely talented English soccer player who had a reputation for liking his beer followed by late night food. As a result, the supporters of opposing teams tease him by insinuating he’s chubby and unfit when actually he is fit and has a naturally full face. The idea is that 50,000 people chanting “Who ate all the pies” might put him off his game.
I’m teasing Coldie in a similar ill founded, blokey kind of way – rather like people teasing him about the clogs thing. That’s it, exciting ?
And now I’m worried about the comeback ….
