So, I suspect that he will show up and stonewall pleading the 5th as much as possible, giving up fundamentally inconsequential information. Which is what I predicted Meadows ‘cooperation’ would amount to as well.

Apparently, Meadows has now found out that the committee will have access to his phone records (and would presumably be able verify whether he would be telling the truth while under oath) and has decided he’d rather not cooperate.

Steve Bannon’s case will apparently go to a jury trial on July 18th, 2022, because his defense needs a lot of time to put together their case. Presumably, at that point he’ll fire his lawyer and ask for more time to get a new one, or will be ill or something.

As 538 pointed out redistricting might be poised to screw Nunes’ safe district in CA. I wouldn’t rule out some serious self-interest here. Of course it might very well be a combo - a true believer making a timely move.
