Well, google tailors its search results to an individual’s usage patterns. It’s not a big stretch to suppose that its predictive text behaves similarly. So for Cawthorne “genital” might have been a perfectly understandable prediction.
Last year, when I was preparing to give a talk in church, I decided to use voice to text to type the thing and I was a bit hesitant. I began with, “Good morning, Brothers and Sisters. I am my first name, my family name. The software rendered it as my first name, the greatest”. It works perfectly!
Depends on what I’m doing. If I’m just chatting back and forth with friends, so long as it’s still understandable, I usually let “(what’s a word for a voice to text typo)”'s slide.
However, if I were a congressperson, making a public statement, I’d spend a minute to make sure it says what I mean it to say.
Amusingly, I just contacted a client to tell them that their dogs, Indy and Tilley, were done, and it came up as “Indian Chilli.”
Yeah, I predict the Ds will sweep the statewide offices in Georgia this year. If these MAGAts skip the election completely, and not just leave the Governor position unvoted, the Ds may even pick up some legislative seats they weren’t expecting. The question is how many of these ultra-Trumpists are there.
Trump and his more fervent supporters are a cut-off-ones-nose-to-spite-their-face kind of people. They don’t really care who wins as long as the people in their shithouse lose.
Oh I’m aware Perdue more or less edges Kemp out in overall reprehensibleness and that they’re almost interchangeable once elected, I’m just concerned Kemp might have a stronger shot at Abrams than Perdue will. (yaknow - with Kemp still having a remaining scintilla of election integrity remaining.)
Even better schandenfraude, though, with that fickle Ornage Bastard’s latest mood-swing.
That could have been an ugly misunderstanding, if the clients were imaginative sorts whose minds might turn to the possibility that you were a dog-cooking maniac (instead of the reputable professional I’m sure you are).
