A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

This may be the most satisfying headline I’ve ever read. From The NY Times:

“Alex Jones Must Pay Nearly $1 Billion for Falsely Calling Sandy Hook a Hoax”

I just want to read it over and over and over again.

He is ordered to pay…

There’s still one more trial in Texas where they haven’t determined what he will have to pay.

Getting a judgement is one thing. Collecting on it is another thing entirely.

No matter what the final amount is determined to be, I don’t think Jones will pay up.

Even better. Then the court can order the US Marshals to collect.

They can also make sure whatever he’s making off his shows and supplements gets garnished.

You can’t be high profile and slip under the radar. This should end him.

He’s begging for money to save his ugly hate filled website. He promised none of the donations will go to the plaintiffs.
“Ain’t no money.”

None of the money will go to the families because bankruptcy will fix everything.

I’m sure that’s what his top-notch legal team told him.

Was there a Law Department in tanTrump’s University?

Where did they get their degree? I don’t think bankruptcy means what they think it does…

In the rich, grifting people’s minds bankruptcy means transferring all your assets to Caribbean or Swiss banks, declaring bankruptcy, and then shrugging your shoulders at any debtee with “I’m so sorry. There’s nothing left”.

A vending machine?

These are the people who accidentally gave an entire hard drive worth of damning evidence (that they earlier claimed didn’t exist) to the plaintiffs in Texas and didn’t bother to make a privilege claim about it when given the chance.

Only the best for Alex “won’t bother to show to my own trial” Jones.

So tanTrump’s University too, as I suspected. Ah, well… they must somehow recoup their losses, must they not?

Forensic accountants will find the money.

What? Isn’t it simple?

Started listening to Alex Jones around 2008. It’s entertaining in the same way I like listening to preachers.

For what a miserable shitstain this guy is: from the comments:
"A little primer on our boy Adam Laxalt. Prior to his career in politics, Laxalt’s annual review at a mid-grade local law firm described him as a “train wreck” who “doesn’t even have the basic skill set.” Because his dad was a Senator, he nevertheless became the state Attorney General in 2014 having literally just failed at his law firm as an associate. Laxalt unsuccessfully ran for governor in 2018, when the other Nevadan Laxalts supported his opponent (just like now). Laxalt was also one of “those guys” who claimed election fraud in 2020 and was behind one or more unsuccessful lawsuits. He is now running for Senate.

In sum, Laxalt is the epitome of failing upward."

Sounds like Paul Gosar all over again.

Not to mention Herschel Walker.

But, you know, “family values” etc.

Let’s hope this story gets some traction and moves some voters in the next couple of weeks.

The YouTube personality LegalEagle has posted a video (35 minutes) detailing the legal net tightening around Trump.

I don’t think Trump will escape.

I think his strategy now is to string out the legal proceedings as much as possible and die of old age before it affects him. Leave his kids holding the bag (and they are involved).

If you want 35 minutes of details about Letitia James’ civil action against TFG, his kids, company, et al, Devin the Legal Eagle turns it over to his pal Spencer, aka the Scowl Owl. I know it sounds silly, but these guys are real lawyers and the video is a serious and detailed run down of the case and why it might destroy the Trump Org.

I believe you, but I find YouTube video thumbnails like these to be absurdly cartoonish and off-putting so I never click.
