Does he really not get it? That no one cared about him, only his daddy? And his daddy ain’t what he used to be? You think he would be used to this by now.
I’d say the apple fell far from the tree, but pretty much the whole family makes a bag of hammers look sharp.

I wonder if he’ll ever develop empathy enough to understand - this is how every person his family has ever exploited and then abandoned feels.
I meant this particular branch but yes, Mary (and her dad and aunt) are/were reportedly pretty sharp.
Tiffany, though… It’s not gotten a lot of play but apparently she fooled around with several Secret Service agents. So, maybe smart enough not to bring excessive attention to herself, but I wouldn’t say smart enough to keep her distance.
Barron seems ok, though. His mom seems to be dedicated to making sure he doesn’t end up like his siblings. Still a child of wealth and privilege with all that entails, but nothing that seems too out of place for anybody who is born to similar circumstances.
And then there’s Eric, an idiot on a scale that makes the Orange Imbecile look sharp. I’m surprised that guy actually learned how to breathe.
Do we know? I basically know nothing about him. He hasn’t been put out in front of the public much and so the media has left him alone. Its possible he’s avoided the family curse, but its also possible that he’s a narcissistic, stuck up, bullying asshole like the rest. We’ll see when he comes into his own.
We don’t really know.
But if he is narcissistic, he (or at least his mom) is keeping it private, which is a good sign from a potential narcissist.
There are plenty of spoiled, stupid, rich children of spoiled, stupid, rich assholes. I don’t see the vast majority of them on the news and they don’t force themselves into the public sphere or politics. Maybe that’s a low bar, but if Barron continues to clear it, that’s good enough for me.
If that ever changes, I’m perfectly happy and willing to paint him with the same brush I do his siblings.
One thing that does point in his favor is that he doesn’t appear to be on social media. Although this may be enforced from on high by his mother who is well aware of what sort of shit storm he would open himself up to if he had a public online presence.
If I were him, I’d certainly keep my head down.
