A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 2)

The combo of that article with the pic of Putin holding his thumb and index finger an inch apart, as if to suggest the size of trump’s…um, intellect? …has got to be some serious trump trolling on the part of Yahoo! News.

I think it is some serious PsyOps on Putin’s part. I’m sure he would actually love to see trump back in office, but he knows it’s helpful to trump to distance himself from trump’s warm embrace for now.

Yeah, well here’s something else Putin once said, in an extremely rare moment of honesty when speaking privately to Kremlin insiders: “We say one thing, and do another”. The idea that Putin could possibly think that this outrageous lie that he “prefers Biden” will be believed by anyone just shows what an isolated, delusional bubble he inhabits.

Like his pal Trump, Putin is so used to lying and getting away with it that it’s just second nature. He probably also thinks his statement provides cover for what it likely to be massive election interference by Russian agents this year to get Trump elected. It’s Putin’s key to his greatest ambition: conquering Ukraine, and then moving on to eastern Europe.

Trump faces his first criminal trial in March. Jury selection on March 25. (Hush money case)

That is what he thinks with…

Two big things were happening today related to Trump’s many ongoing trials. This was the first, and he lost. Trump lost big. I love the part where Trumpie lawyer, Todd Blanche, kept raising objections to setting the trial date until Judge Merchan finally told him to shut up and stop interrupting. Trumpie continues to hire “nothing but the best”, and they’re endearing themselves to judge and jury alike all over the place!

From the CNN report:

As Todd Blanche delivers extended protests during Thursday’s hearing on Donald Trump’s upcoming criminal trial in New York, it’s clear he’s partially putting on a show for an “audience of one” – his client sitting several feet to the right of him.

… Merchan wasn’t having it.

"Thank you, Mr. Blanche,” Merchan said as he cut off the discussion on the trial date. “Mr. Blanche, please have a seat.”

The other one that is worrisome is the disqualification hearing for Fanni Willis. The request to dismiss was denied and it started today.

Pissing off the judge and jury worked so well for Trump in his other trials…

Our old friend “The Mooch” Scaramucci brings more Schadenfreude if he’s not blowing hot air, which unfortunately “The Mooch” often is. But still, …

I hope she gets to drive the bulldozer.

Better yet, sell 15-minute sessions on it for $100. You know she isn’t going to actually see much of that $85-mil.

I’ll take an hour, please. I can pay with cash, plastic, or Venmo.

I wonder how you’d move 85 million dollars? How much can you fit in a suitcase?

It helps if you use odd denominations,

One can only assume they’re worth $480.

As I understand it, they’re worth anything from almost bupkis to billions per bill, depending on which is more advantageous to the matter at hand - and no one has any right to question the person handing the bill out.

There’s even a recent novel about Marjorie Merriweather Post: https://www.amazon.com/Magnificent-Lives-Marjorie-Post-Novel/dp/0593355687

Not distancing himself from Trump shouldn’t hurt Tan the Conman at all. The magatoflatearthers love Putin. They’re fucking cheering him on as he’s trying to obliterate a country that did nothing to him.

Just a quick update on the status of the cases against Tan the Conman.

Another Trump lawyer in legal trouble. This time it’s Todd Blanche, the lawyer in the Stormy Daniels hush money case. The trouble with hiring “nothing but the best” is that pretty soon you’re left with just … nothing!

In a similar vein, Judge McAfee (of the Georgia case) told Trump co-defendant David Shafer that he risked being ejected from his courtroom. The warning came after Shafer could be heard laughing during Nathan Wade’s testimony in a hearing over a motion seeking Fani Willis’s disqualification:

A co-defendant in the sprawling election interference case against former president Donald Trump in Georgia was warned he could be removed from the courtroom after he laughed during testimony.

David Shafer, the former chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, was reprimanded on Thursday during a hearing about the misconduct allegations against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Mr Wade took the stand during the hearing, at one point facing questions about vacations the two took together and how they were paid for. Mr Wade said he booked travel with his credit card, and Ms Willis paid him back in cash.

At this point, in a livestream of the hearing, Mr Shafer could be heard laughing aloud.

“Mr Shafer, you’ll step out if you do that again,” Judge Scott McAfee warned him.

This suggests that Judge McAfee will not look kindly on the sort of disruptive behavior that Trump has been prone to in previous court appearances. If it were allowed I’d be half tempted to start a pool on how long it will take for Trump to be ejected (and perhaps another one about how long it will take for his head to assplode from the accumulated pressure).

How can Trump be found anything other than guilty in this case? His co-conspirator, Michael Cohen, was found guilty in his trial. And Cohen went to jail…

I’ve heard of cases where Party A was convicted of accepting a bribe that Party B was acquitted of paying. You never know…
