I don’t know if it’s legally required, but it’s fairly standard procedure for companies undergoing major changes like a merger to have lockout periods where the upper echelons of the companes involved are forbidden from engaging in stock transactions of their own company.

I predict no bond (what a limb I’ve crawled out on!) and the wheels immediately start turning to seize his most liquid assets. He may have a lot of cash on hand that he’s required to maintain to keep his loans from being called. That’s not Letitia’s problem.
Not sure how quickly the wheels turn to seize real estate, but I would not be surprised if today the first step was taken on multiple properties (filing for liens to be granted or whatever legal magic is required to fire the first broadside).

Yes, but not doing that is why it’s so perfect. You know Trump will want to lash out at Biden for being sarcastic, but if he does, he ends up looking incredibly petty, since Biden was, ostensibly at least, congratulating him.
Trump “wins” his clubs’ championships regularly. It is to laugh. The congrats was definitely sarcastic, and just enough. No need to add anything more, but not because that crosses a line into insincerity. That ship sailed.

My guess is that anyone who goes up against Trump in one of these “tournaments” is probably threatened with having their membership revoked if they beat him.
