A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 2)

I kind of got the feeling that “devote time to it” didn’t actually mean “run or manage it”, but rather “post his bullshit rantings and ravings”. That last bit, of course, is what the magatflatearthers love.

This narrative places the blame for its inevitable failure at Trump’s feet. “We didn’t mismanage the company or fleece the shareholders! It was the courts! Or Trump for breaking the law and having to spend time in court. Either way, definitely not mismanagement.”

I still think its only chance is for Trump to sell it, forget it exists, and move to Mars.

That makes sense except that the ongoing proceedings are perfect for generation of “bullshit rantings and ravings”.

♫ Wake him up,

♫ Give him Adderall

♫ Wake him up,

♫ prosecute that guy…

♫ (Off to the Tombs. Bye-Bye…!)

< you know you were singing it…! >

True but most prisons don’t let you have cell phones, so in the long term he might not be able to devote much time to that sort of thing either.

The sole element that Truth social had that other platforms didn’t is exclusive first access to Trum, particularly now the twitter has gone X removing the novelty for a safe space for bigots. Its like a streaming platform that has one hit show, and their lead actor is about to go the the hoosegow.

I just want to salute you for saying “hoosegow.” A badly underused word.

Just for the record, and I know, I’m raining on the shadenfreude, but I doubt he’ll go to jail over this. He should, and he may, but I still expect that when the deeply desired day comes and he’s found guilty, his claims to being more fit than a man decades younger will be instantly replaced by more honest medical records that indicate that he should just get a fine, or at most, house arrest with the freedom to do critical business needs… which will be abused.

Of course, at this point, I’m NOT ruling out him getting a short stint in jail for FAFO with the judge and ending up in contempt - which will play well with his base mind you, but he’d absolutely hate.

This will be a lengthy stint in court for him compared to other appearances. One can only hope that his infantile lack of self-control will cause him to lose his shit at some point and have to face the consequences.

I think you are probably right, but for the purposes of the mandatory warning of investment risks, you have to consider all possibilities.

Ah, but in terms of ‘mandatory warning of investment risks’ just having TRUMP involved should be it’s own damned category. As has been proven over multiple lawsuits, bankruptcy proceedings, indicted/jailed associates, and even casual reporting to any but the most blinded grifters!

Companies should come with giant warnings plastered over them, like the “explicit content” warnings on a CD!

WARNING, TRUMP WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PRODUCT, YOUR WEALTH AND FREEDOM FROM PRISON MAY BE COMPROMISED BY USE OF THIS PRODUCT.

Similar to those warnings that “This product contains peanuts” found on jars of Peanut butter.

Please don’t make me think about Donald Trump’s peanuts.

Or, if his team keeps withholding his adderall, he’ll just nap through most of the proceedings.

Let’s vamoose, buckaroo!

Would corn nuts be better?

I figure this is as good a place as any:

I hope the details eventually become quite schadenfreude-ariffic. But since they (OAN) settled, after loudly proclaiming they’d done nothing wrong… well, never looks good.

:smiling_imp:

At least that’s definite. I saw a “may contain peanuts” warning on a product that was supposed to have peanuts in it. I was thinking, “It goddamned well better have peanuts in it!”

I had visions of someone with an allergy deciding to take a risk on the “may” part, and then biting into a whole mouthful of peanuts.

Courtroom sketch of Don Snorleone in action;

I was hoping one of the court artist would do that. Although, he does look a bit thin in that sketch.
