Georgia Republican condemns GOP for staying mum as Trump ‘throws sucker punches’ at Kemp
Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan (R) on Sunday criticized his party for staying silent as former President Trump attacked conservative stalwarts including Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger — both of whom resisted Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election in their state of Georgia.
“We have done more for the conservative cause than Donald Trump has ever done,” Duncan said on CNN’s “State of the Union” about Kemp, Raffensperger and himself. “This is now starting to not be Donald Trump’s problem. This is starting to be the Republican Party’s problem.”

The Supreme Court on Monday refused to consider Missouri’s long-shot bid to block former President Trump’s criminal sentencing and gag order in his hush money case.
In a brief order, the justices turned away Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s (R) attempt to go straight to the high court by invoking its exclusive, original jurisdiction over disputes between two states — Bailey’s state directly sued New York.
Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, two of the court’s leading conservatives, said they would’ve allowed Missouri to file the suit but “would not grant other relief.” No other justice publicly dissented.
Okay; that’s just one case. Surely, he’s winning in another, right? Oops.
A federal judge declined Saturday to toss out former President Trump’s federal election subversion case over his assertion that he’s being unfairly and singularly prosecuted.
In a 16-page order, U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan wrote that, at the outset of the trial process, the court must assume the allegations against Trump are truthful — and the “improper reframing of the allegations against him” he has presented so far cannot support dismissal.
“At this stage, the court cannot accept Defendant’s alternate narrative,” Chutkan wrote.

According to court records, Frank Lucio Carillo made several threats against Harris, President Joe Biden, FBI Director Christopher Wray, several Arizona officials, and others on the right-wing social media platform Gettr.
In response to a subpoena, the FBI found 4,359 posts from Carillo “targeting various public officials,” including Harris.
4,359? This is a definition of several of which I was not previously aware.
