Hehe, I am certain that LSD is not legal in Boston. But if you know a guy, it usually goes for about $10 a hit these days.
But I’m not made of the stuff gonzo journalists are made of. I know I would completely lose my shit trying to watch that movie on acid.

It worries me that they stipulate as the condition that you have to sit through the whole movie, which indicates that they are only willing to pay after the event is finished.
And if watching that movie on LSD sounds hard, fighting with MAGA scammers for money while spaced out – or even finding them in the dark cold Boston streets – sounds even worse.
But for a homeless person that could be a couple of hours in a warm place.
I suspect this is the way they make any sucker for $50 watch the movie:
“Must remain in seat for entirely of film”.
God, now I want to make a reality show about people who are desperate for 50 bucks, but really have to take a leak part-way through the movie. Who will make it? Who will give up the 50 bucks to go to the bathroom? Who will try to hold it, but fail spectacularly? Tune in to find out!

Considering he was shouting in horror not at the images shown in the movie, but because they used Ludwig van’s glorious 9th as soundtrack and thus ruined it for him (with devastating consequences for him later in the movie) I wonder now what music $Mellania has desecrated for her… whatever you call it. I am sorry for the artist, even if they get paid (which they probably won’t*).
* And the artists won’t find out, because nobody is watching the movie, so nobody will be able to tell them
All I can say to this is that any artist who composed or allowed to use their music for this film can go fuck themselves. I want their music to automatically cause disgust and nausea.

Heh, I’ve long ago been ‘Ludovico Techniqued’ into feeling atavistic disgust anytime I see or hear anything related to Melania, or the trump admin in general.
Because $50 for a small soda is the least you can pay at the concession stand these days?
I assumed the Melania Craigslist post was someone making a joke, but who knows.
I was curious, so I looked at the IMDb entry for the film. I was at least a little surprised to see that the director is actually someone of note: Brett Ratner.
For those unaware, Ratner directed the Rush Hour movies, among others; in 2017, a number of sexual abuse allegations were made against him, and Warner Bros. terminated their contract with him. He has since emigrated to Israel, and is apparently friendly with Benjamin Netanyahu.
So, I would suspect this is a case of, “hell, my career is already dead, and Amazon offered me good money to make this turd.”
Which of course are monuments of cinematic excellence.
He wasn’t exactly making high art, but he was making a ton of money.
Also, at trump’s intervention it looks like ‘Rush hour 4’, which Paramount had previously passed on after Ratner’s sexual abuse allegations came to light, will now be made after all, with Ratner again directing.
Unless, after the absolutely embarrassing performance of the Melania movie, maybe Paramount will just skip making RH4 altogether, and just directly hand over $75 million or so to trump.
