A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 3)

Republican House Speakers had quite a run keeping us moral. There was Gingrich, who dumped his first wife on her deathbed, and his second wife to marry a choirgirl. And then John Livingston, who lasted less than one 20th of a Scaramucci. And then there was Hastert, who was followed by John Boener, the Speaker who was a crier.

John Livingston? When was this?

I think he meant Bob.

I presume.

That’s not a thing that’s ever going to be a real thing.

Trump is starting to remind me of old rock bands from the 60s and 70s. Their heyday has long since passed, but they continue to play at ever smaller venues. How that must hurt his ego.

To be fair, it’s rather difficult to fill a high school venue.
/sarcasm

Hey, I saw Cheap Trick at a 3k-ish seat venue a few weeks ago, and they still rocked like mad. Of course they were done by 9:15, probably so they could get to bed on time.

His appeal may be becoming more selective. One can hope.

I doubt it.

But words are cheap, unlike gas, beef, milk, and a bunch of other things. They’re ok ignoring reality when it happens to other people. They’re not so sanguine when it hits their own pocketbooks. Somehow, “it’s patriotic to pay more for things” isn’t playing so well. Who’d have thunk it?

I went looking for an image of the “Puppet Show and Spinal Tap” sign from This is Spinal Tap, when the band is reduced to playing at an amusement park, and found this doctored version:

:joy: Good one!

That is some mighty-fine doctoring.

Definitely NOT out of his own pocket (you’re right). If any money goes out it will go out of the PAC (which is supposedly money Donald can spend only on political uses, not on solid gold toilets and such).

But of course the many millions that taxpayers have already been on the hook for, will NOT be refunded:

Remember Roy Moore, that good ‘ol boy from Alabama who rode a horse (badly) to the polls and seemed like a sure thing until unsavory accusations were lodged against him?

It seems that the Supreme Court has no interest in helping him. What a pity!

DHS tries to start a war of words with Hayley Williams, loses immediately.

After Williams said “fuck ICE” onstage during her concert in Chula Vista, California, in September, the outspoken Paramore lead singer sparked a response from the Department of Homeland Security.

“America is grateful all the time for our federal law enforcement officers who keep us safe,” a DHS spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News. “We suggest Ms. Williams to thank them for their service, not belittle their sacrifice,” the agency’s statement said.

Williams, 37, then unleashed her response to the DHS’ statement in an Instagram Story post Monday: “And may I suggest all Nazi bitches suck on my fat dick.”

A DHS representative did not immediately return The Independent’s request for comment.

Shouldn’t that be “Racists are?” This American thinks they’re a bunch of untrained thugs.

This is hilarious. A statue of Trump has been unveiled in the European Parliament. Yep, the whole world respects you, Donald. But I’m guessing Natalie won’t show him this.

Oh that’s creepy-amazing. Along with the business card “commentary” by the artist:

Business cards placed beside the sculpture quote the “King of Injustice” as saying: “I am sitting on the back of a man. He is sinking under the burden. I would do anything to help him. Except stepping down from his back.”

Though (double checks forum) it’s missing than in addition to the one he’s sitting on and crushing, another, nearly equally burdened by the weight, should be tongue deep in the “King’s” ass, being crushed while exalting his gold-plated god.

Yes, the ones keeping us safe, not the ones killing innocent Americans in traffic stops and protest rallies.
