I know Trump and almost everybody associated with him are either victims of or perpetrators of a crime, so why should Dr. Phil be any different? Amused that it’s people who are familiar with BS who are going after him for this particular attempt at avoiding paying what he owes.
The source that first came up for this - Yahoo - I didn’t want to use as a source, so I copied the article title into google to locate the original source - Daily Beast - which couldn’t be found. Had to add “Daily Beast” into the search bar to finally see it. (but then saw Reuters, and a bunch of other sources not previously listed)
There’s an oped in the WaPo from the CEO of Wisconsin Aluminum Foundary titled
“My workers voted for Trump. Now they’re absorbing the impact.”
(I’d give a link, but even though my cancelled subscription runs through the end of October, it doesn’t give me the option to get a gift link anymore.)
Anyway, the majority of the workers at this plant voted for T and now they’re hurting. The company buys imported raw aluminum (It’s not made in the US anymore) and processes it for specific parts. Because of the tariff on Al, they’ve had to raise their prices, orders then dropped 35-40 %, and they’ve had to layoff workers. More layoffs are expected in the future.
Someone who doesn’t have a WaPo subscription will have to answer that. I have no problems reading WaPo articles, since as I said, my subscription is still going.
If she doesn’t know she’s a joke yet I fear for her ability to remember to breathe in a long term sense.
Collins: “I’m extremely concerned that these people continue to do the things they say they are going to do and have done every single time I vote for one of them.”
Me: “Then why do you keep voting for them?”
Collins: “I’m also incapable of pattern recognition.”
