Um, or you can just copy the post I.D. number into a post tag, like such:<post=8276113>this is the post by Stupid Doodiehead</post>replacing the angles with square brackets. This will send you to the thread with the post in question at the top of the browser window, like [post=8276113]this[/post].
And even in “View Single Post” mode, you can go back to the thread in question by clicking the title of the thread in the upper right hand corner, though this will send you to the head of the thread and you’ll have to search for the post you were just looking for, which in any normal thread is no big deal but in a monster charlie-fox like this one is a vertiable pain in the ass.
At peril of encouraging posters to do all sorts of wacky flashing multiple font shit in future posts, here is a list of vB code tags that are activated for the SDMB. Just like they said in summer camp; know your weapon and keep it clean.
