A question about a Pewter Window Flask

I have a flask I’ve been researching with no conclusions…maybe someone can help me here?

It’s round, has a metal pewter screw cap, a flat base, and on the bottom it says FINE QUALITY PEWTER SHEFFIELD ENGLAND

There are no engraved images, it isn’t fancy, BUT it does have one side that is raised up and there is a thick round window so you can see inside.

The flask is 4 1/8" tall X 3 7/8" width X 1 1/2" thick.

Does anyone know anything about this flask? or maybe a site I have missed in all my research. I believe it’s an antique, but can find no answers.

Thanks for any help!

So, like this?

As you can see, these are called porthole flasks, and they’ve been making them in Sheffield forever. Might be antique, might not. Got a pic?

Ya! thats it…the dimensions are a little different, but that’s definetly it, just wish I could see how much it sold for, dang worthpoint! I will check out eBay to see if any have sold recently…using the name PORTHOLE FLASK, thanks much! I do have pics, just not sure how to post them on here…do you have to do that by links?
