Well, I just figured that while people were asking favors…

May I suggest that someone make a list of the people who want them, and mark who’s gotten them? That way anyone who has an invite or two to give away can just send it to the next person on the list (and mark that person as taken care of).

Looks like kind of a free-for-all in here and I don’t want to have to have to break up any tussles about something that isn’t actually Board business.

Somebody around here said it might take a few days before Google actually gives you The Goods. So as far as people giving out invites are concerned, they’ve done all they can for you. It’s up to Google now.

Does anyone know if GVoice requires you to use a different phone number? Or can you set it at a phone number you currently have?

I’m super interested, but having to change my phone number at this point (my cell phone number, which I’ve had almost a decade) would be extremely disruptive. I’d love to try GVoice if it allows me to keep my number, though.
