You are upset because a year ago I posted an article from Ben Shapiro, a very well known devout Orthodox Jew, who often posts on Jewish matters and is taking issue with a political organization linked to Soros, that he thinks was falsely claiming to speak on behalf of the Pittsburgh Jewish community. This seems to have been borne out as factual since the actual rabbi of the Tree of Life Synagogue contradicted the organization and expressed welcome for Trump.
So…
I will keep an open mind and give you one chance to explain yourself and convince me you are not just a trolling lunatic.
What’s anti-Semitic about this? What relevance does it have to anything being discussed here? Why is this worth talking about a year later, and how is it somehow an indictment of me personally that I posted it? What, if anything is actually factually incorrect in the article or my summary of it?
While we’re pointing out Scylla’s particular brand of wrongness and nonsense, here’s the recent one involving me, once again: after I demonstrated that his blame of the Democrats for last year’s government shutdown is false, with a factual timeline with cites that demonstrate the falseness of his argument, he conveniently just so happens to decide that I’m not arguing fairly, and runs away from the discussion. Well, that wasn’t the Pit. This is indeed the Pit. I think you got all toddler-ish when I went to the effort, with a timeline and cites, of showing that you were wrong on the facts. I’ll certainly admit to being a bit peeved that you childishly gave me the brush-off right after I clearly demonstrated that you were incorrect.
But it’s no big deal – just having a bit of fun. Why not try laughing at your own mistakes? I’ve probably reacted poorly before when I was demonstrated to be incorrect, as well.

Because this is like the 2nd time you’ve done this in this thread, and then you did it before in GD, and then like two years before you hijacked a thread because you wanted to discuss something I said SEVEN years previously and I obliged at length for like 12 fucking pages.

How do you know? You said you didn’t even read my post. I demonstrated with a series of facts that the Democrats passed a funding bill that had previously had the support of every single Republican in the Senate. And then the Republicans did absolutely nothing about it.

No, I’m not offended. I have fun with discussions like this. Especially when folks are incredibly wrong on the facts, but refuse to accept it.
When one side changes their opinion of a law from “we totally support this” to “We refuse to even vote on this crap” in the span of a month, it is seriously fucked up to blame the side that was “we totally support this” both times.
Because I didn’t care, and I don’t care, and I remember thinking “why are we on this tangent? What does it actually have to do with the topic at hand? He knows what I am going to say, and I know what his response will be so why are we involved in this? This is tedious and useless. Why don’t I just post in another thread?.”

Maybe that’s the first step. If so, the next would be to actually consider the facts of the circumstances we were discussing.

I doubt you would have expended so much effort on that discussion if you didn’t find it interesting and/or enjoyable. I certainly don’t – I only participate in threads in which I’m having fun and/or learning. So far, this thread is fun! You could join in the fun, if you like.
You’ve already said this, over and over again. You’ve said that liberals’ words and actions have made you support Trump. I’m trying to gently demonstrate that some of your preconceived notions might be incorrect, and that you might reevaluate your beliefs if you could open up your defenses to some different sources of information.
