Incorrect…does not compute. Retry.
In other words, you’re one of us, the few, the proud, the MMP’ers; We would miss you. Never doubt that.
Ok, bedtime. Catch you all tomorrow.

We would miss you. I hope you know that you are family. Today is hard, but we’re here. {{{ hugs }}}
Thank you all!! I am actually in tears.
Hugs and hugs and more hugs. You have suffered a horrible loss, of course you are depressed. How could you not be?
Even if you don’t think you are in the right place to allow another dog to claim your heart, you could maybe volunteer at the local shelter. Folks wimp out on the dog walking stuff when the weather sucks.
I think I’ll look into the dog walking thing. My dad does that, and he sems to really like it.
Thank you all for being here.
Well crap, isn’t there something more light hearted to end a MMP on?
POOP!
poop is always funny.
If we allow GG to eat some of VBC’s gooshy fud, he stinks up the litter bot and room so much he runs out of the room like his tail is on fire. VBC doesn’t really run from the stink bot but she puts her feet up and down pretty quickly. Hubs will be in the middle of an online monster killing session and will yank his headphones off and move almost as fast as VBC to nicer smelling parts of our home.
Awww. That sucks. We Dutch are spoiled that way. I was like 8 or so when we had a class trip to a local farm where we made our own. On that same trip we tried our hand at spinning wool, which I have taken up in recent years. My husband also brews beer, btw, and he makes wine. He has the ambition to buy a still someday so he can moonshine but so far I’ve kept him from doing so
. I found that making stuff hands on is a really good antidote to living in your head all day. Hopefully you’ll be able to watch a cheesemaker at work someday
Hugs from the other side of the pond. We would certainly miss you. This sucks, but it is also a sign of how deeply you have loved. That was one lucky dog.
You’ll get through this. Keep putting one foot in front of the other, and keep us posted. Between members here there’s a lot of experience with mourning as well as depression. Take your time.
The sciatica thing sounds like your ulnar nerve being trapped or having had pressure on. That’s the nerve that runs outside of your elbow. It can be as simple as having leaned too much on it. If it doesn’t let up in a couple of days, see a doctor. Best of luck!
Up,caffeinated and sheveled. Off to heave.
Alex Catt doesn’t fart often. Bet when she does it’s “black Hefty bag full of dead skunks lying on an asphalt parking lot in August in N.C.” bad.
Seconded. Take care and give yourself time.
Ours does that sometimes. It’s amazing how much stink they can produce ![]()
Don’t ever let a dove eat cat food, even if she really likes it. Ava (RB) could produce post-cat-food birdie bombs that probably violated a few chemical warfare treaties.
FART.
There’s always fart. My beloved 4yo grandfather finds fart to always be hilarious.
This made me laugh out loud. Thanks, I needed that. The whole post was hilarious but I started laughing early on. In my house it’s the la-di-dah prissy pedigreed Siamese who has this effect on us. Of course, afterwards she strolls around looking like “who, me?”
And then this came along and made me laugh even harder.
Thanks again.
Autocorrect warps yet another family tree. ![]()
Yep, you got me. Granted, my family tree is damn warped to begin with…
I walked 2.14 miles today. I’m still off my pace of just over 3 mph, as each mile took 20 minutes, 10 seconds. But it’s close, and not bad for my second walk in a rather long time (not counting the half-mile walks through Costco once a week).
