It was red and it’s what the beans were cooked in. No idea whether the caterer uses Kraft or not.
I fell asleep in front of the TV - missed an hour of an engineering catastrophies show. Oh well. Supper was leftover baked ziti and a Klondike bar. Now I’m ready for beddy…
Midget, there is little advice I can give besides the vacuous-sounding “do what you think is right”, but I will say we MMP’ers will be here with hugs and friendship no matter what.
swampy, glad the Mighty Yard Goats were able to get some swimmin’ in. And FCM, it’s amazing how localized rain can be. I went out to eat a little bit ago, completely dry here but 5 miles up the road it’s wet.
Could you maybe give us a hint? For example, I’m theorizing this has to do with you knowing about someone cheating on someone else. I don’t know this, I’m just guessing. If so, you’re right, this will get messy. My normal counsel would be to just stay out of it.
No, it’s not a cheating or a sexual situation. It’s me knowing not-so-nice things about someone I consider my good friend, and feeling I have to tell someone else. And this could affect either my friendship with this friend, or my friendships with a whole other group of my friends.
Just got home; didn’t read. You know it’s a long day whenst you leave in the dark & arrive home in the dark…& it’s just days from summer solstice.
Sleep!..please.
Of course I’m up before 6 on Sunday… it’s kinda what I do. But I did sleep all the way thru the night without waking, which I consider to be a victory.
Apparently we had a storm with T-boomers yesterday that I must have slept thru - probably when I crashed in front of TV. My daughter looked at me as if I’d lost my mind when I told her I hadn’t heard it. Guess I was more tired than I thought.
When **FCD **gets up, we’re going to get breakfast. Then I have a rollicking schedule of laundry ahead of me. Good times! Happy Sunday!!
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis <snerk> 69! <snerk> Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 89 and maybe or maybe not p.m. rain/tstorms/apocalypse. That’s what TWPTB say anyway. We were both in bed and asleep around eight-thirty last night so I am well-rested this mornin’. The big agenda today is deheathenization wherein I have ush duty, followed by N.O.L. most likely grabbin’ some McBurgers and bringin’ ‘em back to da cave to eat. Might have quality cee-mint pond time this afternoon dependin’ on the weather.
{{{Midget}}} whatever you decide or have decided to do we’re all here for ya.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. At some point purtification for deheathenization must also commence.
Looks like we might get rain today.
It never rained here yesterday, but I saw that Ocean City flooded. My friend in Baltimore got hit hard, she said that last the the streets around her way looked like that was when Agnes hit.
I’m still feeling the grumpies.
Pretty sure that is how you’re supposed to get home from a rolling stones gig, yes
Having a laaazy day today. I’m experimenting with sourdough bread and making elderflower fizz, other’n that, slobbage is the order of the day. I may do some general tidying as well, if I feel up to it.
Getting a bit fed up of the weather forecasting locally; it keeps predicting around 70% chance of heavy rain, storms and other such stuff, then about an hour before it the rain’s supposed to arrive, the probability suddenly drops from 70% to 10% and we just got a little cloud. Same thing’s happened 3 or 4 times in the last week, I swear they’re just chucking darts at a board covered in symbols.
**Nuts **- I took a meteorology class in the late 70s - the dartboard was 70s technology. Weather guessers are more advanced today - they use a computer to generate a random number and that’s the rain percentage they report. Or they might just Google “Weather Images” and count thru to the number of the date. The keep their methodology secret.
Showered, dressed, and waiting for **FCD **to dress so we can go get some breakfast. I’s hongreeeee!
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off today. Sp far I have been awakened at 0600 by Alex Catt’s rendition of “My food bowl is 50% empty and I must starve” and Gordie has repelled 3 assaults by The Invisible Mole People. Got to throw the poke loin in the crock pot in a bit.
wet one, isn’t that the way one normally returns from a concert?
It’s lightly raining here, which should bode well for traffic going into Nashville to heathenate. We did need it, as I’ve had to water the patio garden a couple of times this week. The usual Sunday chores will happen when I get home and I’ll stitch up the studio bed that Nelson got a notion to pull stuffing out of the other evening. That’s the next one to be replaced with a memory foam bed since he doesn’t bother those.
Back from breakfast and Lowe’s. First load is in the washer, and I just built a meatloaf that’s now in the freezer. After the next load goes in the washer, I’ll cut up poke chops for the freezer. Somewhere in there, I need to go get eggs for whatever and some cukes for my lunches this week. Dishwasher will be loaded, too. And the vacuum will probably be pushed around.
Alternating clouds and sun so far, but there and 80-100% chance clouds will win and precipitate upon us. I should probably run to Food Lion before then.
Well, that’s better than stopping to gather moss.
Ugggh, the head (& ears) are not happy w/ me. Not sure what percentage is lack of sleep & what percentage is last night’s concert. I woke up too late for the group run. & I forsee a nap in my (near) future.
Slept late since I was awake until nearly 3 am. I have walked the dog. I also have laundry to do. I need to clean out the fridge and give it a bath and Lucky Louie needs a bath. Happy Sunday!
Daughter has taken SIL to an urgent care clinic - he hasn’t been able to keep anything down since Tuesday. I’ve got baby duty. So far, I’ve changed 2 diapers, fed her a bottle, walked her around the yard, and right now, she’s in her swing facing out the front door. She seems to like the outside.
Last load in the washer. With luck, laundry will be done in about 90 minutes. I hope.
Since it is the end of hockey season, and my first day off in a month, Gordie has insisted on hourly walks. He currently is sleep barking(At The Invisible Mole People, I assume). I have also rearranged the drawer of forlorn kitchen tools.
