Josh Duggar is doing a LOOOONG time in prison for molesting two of his sisters, among other people, and accessing CSAM on a work computer. His brother Joseph has now been charged for abusing a 9-year-old girl a few years ago.
I’m not a Duggar follower, and I don’t suspect that most of the people here do that either, but there just seems to be no bottom of the pit of depravity this family is capable of, and pretty much nobody has been surprised.
Can you please spell out the meaning of CSA? The most common definition of this acronym is Community Supported Agriculture, and I’m pretty sure that’s not what you meant. Not everyone will know what you’re referring to. Including me. Thanks.
In the body of the OP, they use the more common CSAM - Child Sexual Abuse Material based on the context. I’d therefor expect CSA to be Child Sexual Abuse. @nearwildheaven, if so, let any of us Mods know so we can clear up the possible confusion, perhaps by adding a notice to your OP.

I imagine there is a lot of buried abuse in the Duggar family.
The only reason I know what CSA means is because I work in child welfare. I made an acronym list for all new workers and interns because there are just so many of them.
And not because there are so many of them, either. Plus, acronyms and terminology are always changing.
Years ago, I read an account of Nate Phelps, whose “father” was the infamous Fred Phelps, a son who escaped the family, which was also a hotbed of abuse. At the time I first read it, all I could think was that it wouldn’t surprise me that the Duggars weren’t much different, just under the surface.
When their (un)reality show really took off, my sister said, “You just know that at least one of those kids is going to be gay.” And there has been speculation about a couple of them in this regard, but at least that is a private matter as long as it involves consenting adults. This isn’t.
I thought CSA meant something entirely different.
I keep my acronym list at work updated because it changes rapidly.
I have it separated into different areas of service such as education/medical/legal/abuse/mental health/substance abuse treatment/etc.
It’s quite a long list but very helpful.
Sexual and physical abuse leaves lifelong damage/scars. I hate to see that whatever happened to the Duggars is causing such tragedy for other people and families.
And to think they were held up as such role models for family living…it makes me gag.

My mind is going places with that that I don’t even want to think about, but most likely, she tried to hide the kids from CPS workers, that kind of thing.
He was charged with inappropriately touching a then-9 yo who was not his child but what are her charges for?
Both were charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and four counts of false imprisonment in Arkansas. They have four kids (I believe); don’t know if those two things are related or its something else. Looking out of curiosity, I can’t find anything about the underlying reason for her charges.

My first thought was those poor kids . With both parents being charged, they’re likely to be assigned to multiple foster families.
Just a note as someone who paid far too much attention to this case: Josh (aka Pest) is in prison for the CSAM, not for the abuse of his sisters. The thing with his sisters was swept under the rug and no charges (or actual consequences) ever came from that.
While IMO all the Duggars (along with other families who subscribe to the IBLP doctrines) have terrible beliefs, I feel for the children - those abused by Pest, those abused in the CSAM, and those abused by Joe and/or Kendra.
