A self-rescue MMP

You are confusing Georgia with Mississippi.
Damn Yankee.

HEY!! I spent 18 years in northeast Florida, also referred to as South Georgia. I know full well that blue tarps are not confined to MS! :stuck_out_tongue:

Morning all,

Apparently I had the electronic touch of death yesterday. First my irk access card died so I had to spend 2 hours at the pass and id office getting a new one, then my irk computer refused to go to a irk necessary website, so I had to get a new one, then my sign on wouldn’t work because when they switched my computer they didn’t do all the necessary technical magic and THEN, the irk network went down. So I went home and took a nap. Today, better be better…OR ELSE!

I understand that our geography can be difficult for you guys.
Mrs. Plant’s (v.2.0) Aunt called us in Little Rock from Rhode Island because there had been a tornado in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Don’t make Swampy say, “You’re not from Around Here, are you?”

So Happy It’s Thursday.

Now you know I ain’t one to put on airs! :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s what she said
(don’t hit me!)

Big training presentation today to some mucky mucks at Big Time Local Bank. Eeeeeeeek

Apes, I’ll let that pass because I know your hormones are all over the place what with the baby and stuff. :stuck_out_tongue:

I need to shower, dress, and run some errands, but I sure don’t feel like it. It’s dreary and overcast - perfect for sleeping in, if that was an option. Stoopit dog. But I guess I gotta be all adult and stuff and get started. Off to the shower I go!

Blurf

swampy, my favorite was always Dog(her drawing even looks like Maggie Wonderbeagle did. :))

So things are back to normal eh?

I’m showered, dressed (almost - my shoes aren’t tied yet) and I think I’ll go run my errands while it’s not raining. Sounds like a plan, huh?

No shit!

I meant to say, “Golly!”

EmilyG, the sky’s the limit!

No news about work situation yet. Last night I organized my yarn by color and stuffed it back onto the shelves. It’s not exactly tidy, but it is colorful and pretty!

Later I’ll probably sneak out early, drop off the heavy magazine boxes to my friend at his job, get my hair did (roots are a little sparklier than I care for), and then home to visit with another friend visitn’ from ND.

Early last fall I decided that I was no longer going to color my hair. I’m 46, I have greys and I should be proud of them! That lasted 5 months before I was running back to the hairdresser so that she could fix me.

STILL WITHOUT MY MEDIA!!! :frowning: :frowning:   :frowning: :frowning:

I has a major blue

Poor kid!

How does it come to pass that?

(That means “How come?”, Swampy)

:goose:

It’s grey, chilly and wet outside, the wind’s howling around the building. Where did my sunny weather go? And why am I sitting here at all when I want to be at home with a good book? Oh, irk, why are you irksome?

I am still missing two senior invigilators for exams but I have three PhD students who will work for me doing other stuff. One minor miracle has been performed, I have a couple more to sort out before the weekend.

On the plus side, I will only be working two days next week and then I’m on holiday for a week! Before then I have room bookings to work out, exams to sort, special snowflake students to deal with and a couple of boring meetings to go to.

Tonight there will be grocery shopping, Wii-ing and a restorative glass of wine in my future.

Happy Thorsday.

It’s a grey day today.

The agenda for today is irk irk IRK!
I may or may not have to walk hell pup.
Hopefully there will be no more encounters with fish hooks and collars.

thanks, but it doesn’t solve the main issue
