Nothing should go to waste.
Stick it in your boot and kick it to the kerb!
Are all meetings clusterF*cks, or just all the ones that I attend?
Pretty much all of them.
Everywhere.
That’s not what I use them for…
[QUOTE=VunderBob]
Not yet it hasn’t. I still have unused squid.

Know anyone who’s moving out of a place on unhappy terms? They may be able to find a use for it.
Just to cornfuzz Nutty even more, polite military society refers to them as a Charlie Foxtrot.
Did I mention Cedar Point has a new coaster? Did I mention we get in for media day and early rides? Did I mention their idea of early is 4AM? 4AM!!! I didn’t even know such a thing existed!!! Except to come home at. That’s fine. But getting up before then to be perky by then?
Pre-dawn roller coasters could be interesting. Just watch out for the parking charges!
I think one run on a roller coaster at 4 AM would get anyone perky.
I was brought in yesterday and today to lay my mad spelling and grammar skillz on a couple of gawd-awful manuals that one particular individual here has drafted. Besides having a poor mastery of written English, he loves verbiage - can’t say use, must say utilize. It’s apparent he writes to make his stuff sound SMR*T but it’s awkward and very poorly constructed BS. He’s also very inconsistent with formatting.
To give him props, he’s a whiz with the software, but he lurves to make things more complicated than they need to be, because he can. It shows in his writing. Anyway, I just finished beating the users’ manual into submission and yesterday, I bled all over the overarching control document - THAT was a disasterpiece! Tomorrow, I shall again be retired until the Feds break loose some $$$ and the contracts start flowing again.
Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum!!! <drool>
I loves me some calamari almost as much as chocolate!!
I do not like roller coasters. They are not fun. They are scary. I said it. So There!
Lucky that is the OED definition of a meetin’.
I keep gettin’ these requests for documents from a law firm concernin’ a participant. I dutifully forward them to HR. HR does apparently nuttin’ with 'em. This is the third one. I have dutifully sent it on to HR. HR lives in Virginia. I think therein lies the problem. No worries on my end. I did my part.
I is a perfessional; I knows how to treat childbirth & almost earned a ‘stork’ from a neighbor; I’d take care of Apes right; of course, there’s also the fact that I like her!
Who’s updating the recipe blog? Mmmm, yummmmmmmy!
& Beer, I need a 12-pack of beer…or I swap the goat out for a mooooo; which is infinately worse!
My interwebz is down; currently sitting on neighbor’s porch catching up on work emails & other important things {like the MMP}. Now must go call Verizon & beg & plead for 2nd level tech support. Translation: I’ve already cycled the router & made sure the connections are connected.
4am is a reasonable bedtime, according to my husband. OK, so he does work second shift.
Moses on a motorbike! The last time I went to Carowinds was 1998 and it wasn’t near that expensive! And them was 1998 dollars!
I was going to go for a walk, but the clouds are threatening and my legs hurt from yesterday. I think I’ll sit on the floor and cut more plarn. I hate that cutesy name, but that seems to be what everyone that I’ve run across calls it.
Beast loaf is bakin’ away. Soon mac 'n cheese shall bake away. Then rolls shall bake away. Dindin is underway! Plus there should be enough for tomorrow’s dindin, so yay for that.
That is all.
Home, exhausted. Supper will be a chicken and onion dish cooked in a sauce that has peach jam in it, served over rice. Probably broccoli on the side. The rice is cooking right now, and shortly, I’ll go start the chicken.
It’s crazy windy here! And we had some serious rain, to judge by the splashback on the siding by the deck. ick.
Glad I’m not working tomorrow…
Well guess what? Life has been crazy around here. I see all of your surprise eyes, lol!
A couple of weeks ago the MMP was about pets. Well on the previous Friday I said goodbye to my oldest pom Fawn and my min pin Zoey. It was really hard, my dad took my daughter and I and he insisted on being in the room with us and he cried too. Anyway, I just couldn’t post that week, and I have been tying to keep myself busy since then. We put them with Cash and the Halloween kitty Matilda and re-planted the rose, pansies, pinks and snapdragons. Only five poms left, and even Satine is 10 years old.
My mom is still making me and the rest of the family and our circle of friends crazy. I have been able to get her to eat occasionally, but she still will not take her medications as prescribed, and I don’t think she has really quit drinking as she says she has.
On the other hand spring is here, the last few days have been gorgeous but too hot, today I woke to clouds but they have gone and it’s a lovely 61°F with a light breeze. My son and my daughter’s boyfriend power washed my deck and have spent the last two days applying stain and weatherproofing. I am hoping to get the furniture back up on the deck today, I would like to sit outside and watch the sun set and the stars come out.
I read but retained mostly nothing. April I have four kids. I had light contractions for a couple of days and then about twenty minutes of “oh, this is kinda serious” and then it was over, and I wish for you as easy a labor and delivery as I had.
On preview, I think I need the recipe for that chicken dish Mooom puhleeze. I lurve me both some chicken and peach anything.
Ima go outside now and play in the dirt again.
Wait one cotton pickin’ minute here.
We have staff meetings? I can only assume that Beer is served at these meetings. Why was I not invited? :dubious:
Jim
'round these parts, we use these, Bbbobbio (dobsonfly larvae). Fishies can’t resist them.
Catch 'em right on the shore of any good size river (just flip over big flat rocks in the mud), and watch your fingers! They bites!
