A Slut And Proud Of It!

Well, unless you’re a creationist it seems reasonable to believe that humans evolved. Therefore our psychology is the result of evolution.

Therefore a man who had a lot of partners had a lot of kids. So he is looked up to.

A woman who had a lot of partners isn’t going to have any more kids than she can with one partner. Therefore she is called a slut.

These ideas are instinctual, they may be reinforced by society but they are there whether or not they are reinforced.

[quote Valerieblaise – I think you did fine for your first post. Very ambitious to start in the Pit, I think. /quote]

I’m sorry, Cess, I meant it was my first shot at QUOTING, as in using the codes to make the quote show up. I’ve been posting for a few months now. I lurked for a few months before that, so I knew your age from a couple different threads about the fact that you had just graduated or were graduating or something.

You’re getting there, Val.

{quote}place cut and pasted quote here{/quote}

And replace the “{}” with “

Hope that helps.

You say “cheesy” like that’s a BAD thing.

There were “sluts” in grade school! I mean, they were considered sluts because they were having sex at age 11. I wanted to be one of them because they were beautiful. I think calling someone a slut is simply jealousy. Myself,I was a virgin til age 26.It was because I did NOT want kids yet,and theres always a chance,so,cautious me.

The poster beneath me is really smart!

Ooops!!! Sorry, Valerieblaise!!! You can see how often I actually look at the names next to the posts! Please forgive!

I don’t know how you define the terms, but from the Neuro-trash Unabridged Dictionary of Sex:

slut- n. An individual, male or female, who enjoys sex, and generally does not attempt to put any conditions on a one-night stand. A “rampaging slut” is someone who has sex more or less indiscriminately. I am a slut, but not a rampaging slut.

whore- n. An individual (usually female, sometimes male), who has sex (“puts out”) in exchange for favors. Sometimes it is a blatant agreement between the two parties, sometimes it is tacit. Often, it is not realized by the other party until later. I frequently find myself in relationships with whores.

nympho- n. An individual (male or female), who has an uncontrollable, compulsive need for sex. This person often finds themselves seducing an individual they had no previous intention of having sex with, just because they’re there. I’ve had to fight off a few nymphos in my time.

Anyway, I, like Cessandra, am a slut (despite, also like Cessandra, not actually having slept with very many people), and I’m damn proud of it. I say it’s high time that we remove the stigma associated with this word. I’m going to fly my slut flag high!

Modest? You bet I’m modest! I am the queen of modesty!

Um… WHAT!?!

Please tell me this is not a widespread problem. Please tell me these kids are isolated cases.

Satan,

Come here hon, sit down on the sofa next to me. (Don’t get bent Heatherlee, I’m not flirting with him, just want him seated so if he faints I won’t have to pick him up !)

I’m sorry to say. I have seen pregnant 12 year olds. So yes it does happen. Not all 11 year olds are having sex, or even playing at it, but you might be surprised at how many do.

My mother got married at 14 for petes sake !
And no, she wasn’t pregnant, just desperate to get away from an abusive father.

This is Ayesha, aborting hi-jacking of thread now, didn’t mean to, satan needed an answer , sorry. Jumping from thread, ---- oh shit, no parachuteeeeeeeeeee

You sound reasonable. Must be time to up my medication.

Tssssssssss… the expression is FILM AT ELEVEN, not SEX AT ELEVEN. Duh.

Back to the OP, since that is the thing to do these days:

Hey, Cess, I don’t care. It’s your life. So, in a pleasant way, please go and fuck your brains out. Whether you’re a slut or not is not for anyone to judge, with the possible exceptions of your legal husband and/or family, I suppose.

Satan, yes. Its true. I don’t know if it was because it was the 60’s or just our little suburb, but there were a few. I wasn’t one of them(too scared about pregnancy),but I assume theres even more young girls nowadays doing it that young. Can’t imagine they really enjoy it though(the girls, that is).

Maybe some of the 11-year-old girls did it once to “prove” themselves, and maybe some of them liked it. No way to know without asking the girls – or asking grown women who started having sex at such a young age.

I can say that sex for a teenage boy can be empowering and confidence-building, can increase his tenderness and understanding for the opposite sex, and can even increase his sense of responsibility. It can also scare him off and make him more childish, at least for a while. I can’t say what effects sex for a teenage girl can have, because, hey, I’ve never been a teenage girl.

The sexual urges hit some people a lot younger than others. I personally know more than one girl who lost her virginity before her tenth birthday in non-rape situations. Scary, isn’t it? Some girls become aware of special pleasurable feelings “down there” very early on, and some of them act upon them right away. I can’t really speculate as to motivation, because despite being aware of sexual feelings for as long as I can remember, I never acted upon them until my late teens. But, yes, it happens, and it is only going to get worse before it gets better.

Modest? You bet I’m modest! I am the queen of modesty!

ARGH! When I was 11, it was a big deal that two people in my class (who were “going out”) actually kissed each other! ON THE LIPS!!! Am I supposed to feel this old at 25?

Don’t worry, when I was 11 I would have been thrilled to have a guy hold my hand.

Why sex is better than religion: There are laws against forcing sex on minors who can’t think for themselves.

My friend has a CD with a song that goes like this:

That’s an excerpt, so it should be OK for copyright laws, oh great ones whose names I dare not speak.

When I was in the 6th grade, I knew a girl who had already lost her virginity. She was, IIRC, 11 years old the first time she had sex.

[[Let me just clarify one thing: I have slept with a total of three men in my life. All three were one-nighters (except the one that kept hounding me and is now my fiancé). However, I was labeled a slut in high school before I even lost my virginity. Why? Because I wanted to date around and not get tied down too soon. (Ironic, isn’t it?) ]] Cessandra
Er, not that it’s any of my business with whom you have sex, but didn’t you claim a few months ago to have slept with a different guy every night for something like a six-month period? Judging from your photo on Opal’s TM page I’m sure you’d have no shortage of takers, but, well … isn’t that a bit inconsistent with what you just wrote here?

No, I said I was with a different guy every night. I didn’t actually sleep with most of them. Just fooled around.

Okily dokily, then – that sure wasn’t the impression I got at the time.
