First off, I’d like to take my hat off to the mods, admins, and everyone else who helped to keep us together during the downtime.
That said, I’d appreciate it very much if the symbol tags were made functional again. As you can see, my sig looks so sad without them, and I’ve grown quite fond of it.
Oh, that reminds me of something. Is it possible that we could be given the option to choose whether our sig shows up by default? I don’t want to use mine most of the time, but I know others do.
I discovered sigs were on by default too. Choosing would be nice, but if we can’t “off” would be my preferred default. It looks like the subscript tag is not on either.
Another small request: Can we have the colorful smilies back? Green rolleyes, blue “eek”, red “mad”, etc. At least on my monitor, they all look like a rather icky washed-out yellow.
And yet another small request: To disable the “who’s browsing the forum” feature.
Also, did we get a server upgrade during the downtime, and is bandwidth still an issue? Shall we continue to not use our sigs in order to conserve bandwidth, or is it Nellie bar the door, sig-wise?

The new features are pretty cool, from what I can tell. Maybe with the neato vB code drop-down menus, we’ll have fewer broken tags! (A girl can dream, can’t she?..)
Ditto! But I agree with DDG that I miss the colorful smilies.
And is there any way to get a <center> Center </center> tag?

I saw it and started having nightmares of um…whatshername: the person with the Crapware who’s only feature was that you could “rate” other people’s threads who had the dresser/cabinet fixation…Jally! I kept having Jally flashbacks!

DDG, if you edit your options in your control panel you can choose to be “invisible” on the “who’s browsing this forum” option.
Oh, okay, thanks. I have done so. 
BTW, Tuba, I see that evidently the default for “Allow bulletin board admins and mods to send you e-mails?” is apparently “no”. Shouldn’t that be “yes”?

First off, thanks to Tuba and everyone else involved for the temporary board and for the new version of this one. Great job, folks.
I’d like to add my vote for keeping the “who’s browsing this forum” feature, since it can be opted out of. And for un-yellowing the majority of the smilies. And since it’s coming up in other threads, I’d like to humbly request that you NOT institute animated smilies. Down with Mallet Man!
I whole heartedly second the request to keep animated smileys out.
Since this seems to have turned into a list of features that didn’t make it through the conversion, I’d like to add the cool spoiler tag. It was pretty cool, even though it wasn’t used that often, and over the next few weeks I hope you guys remember to turn it back on.

Also, the spoiler thingy that I came up with will work safely here now, only screwing up a post (and not a thread) if it is misused.
JFTR, I never liked the multi-coloured selection of smilies. Much better, in my opinion, is this uniform look.

Well, I wouldn’t mind them all being “yellow” if they weren’t such a washed-out shade of light yellow. The “eek” smilie barely shows up, because the top part of his head is much lighter, and the “big Grin” guy is totally wasted, visually speaking, as there’s not enough contrast between his white teeth and the light-yellow.
Anyway, I’m easy.
