[SPOILER]I think Imriel’s got more of a sense of humour than Phedre has. There’s not a lot of Phedre and Joscelin, but lots of fun cavorting with Dire Magic and nifty clothes. And I really quite like Sidonie. She doesn’t let him brood or get self-important. I think the ending is fun, but I’m all sentimental.

I’ve been a bit quiet the past few days … I dreamed (again!) that I’d started smoking again … but I haven’t. I will admit to sniffing the cigarette smoke of others, but I definitely have NOT partaken of any cigarette smoke myself. Heh. Still taking zyban. 31 days and counting. Will I ever -not- want a cigarette?! Gah! Oh yes, and thank you very much, cigarettes, for making me be so short tempered as I still think of smoking you!

Whee… a day off but still busy.
Fixed some issues I was having, got some insurance quotes for a car. I got to go for a ride in the one I might buy last night… it was niiiiice. A nifty 2 dr Pontiac Sunfire in a dark purple. It just felt right. If things go well and her dad finishes doing the last couple things he was fixing on it, and I pass my driving test, I could be in a car sometime next week!
Just in time to go camping next weekend, going with friends and said girl who is selling her car, and it would be nice to drive myself out because looking at my list I’d take up a lot of space in my pal’s car…
Eee so excited and nervous…
OMG, it’s so hot and sticky right now. I dont understand how this happened - it was actually kinda chilly this morning. Or so I thought. And now I’m all sweaty and sticky. Recreational activities + summertime = feeling especically gross afterwards.
And in all the excitement I’ve forgotten to have lunch. Ack. No wonder my stomach is growling.
I’m home!!! Amazing how long a short day can seem.

It’s soooooooooo freakin’ hot right now!!! I need to mow. I want to mow at least the front yard this evenin’. Or maybe the back yard. I’m workin’ from home tomorrow, so if I get one done this evenin’, I can do the other tomorrow mornin’ early. Maybe I’ll wait til around seven thirty and mow the back and edge around the pool. Yeah. Maybe that’ll work. It’s still like 95 degrees out though. We’re havin’ August weather in June.

Nevermind… I think I figured it out.
Ah, a leisurely day floating the river. My roommates were all invited, but one decided not to go, and then another came with us, but sat at the drop-off point and played guitar for a while. Hours, a while. He apparently ended up getting some beer and 10 bucks though, so I guess it wasn’t a total waste. I also learned how to skip rocks, a skill that I made it through my childhood without learning, despite spending plenty of time at lakes and rivers.
Good luck with the kittehs and pills! Why can’t they just make orally-disintegrating tablets for animals? That way when they refuse to swallow it, you can just hold their mouths shut until they dissolve.
