A-Team trailer - This could be the greatest movie of all time

I’ll let the trailer speak for itself for now…

Go on! Watch it right now!

Now then…

Liam Neeson looks like he’s having the time of his life and hearing him say “I love it when a plan comes together” was excellent.

And then of course the trailer ends with the A-Team flying in a plane, getting shot out of the sky by another plane, then falling to Earth inside of a tank, then they pull a parachute on the tank and then they use the tank’s cannon to SHOOT DOWN THE PLANE THAT SHOT THEM!

This is going to be the greatest movie ever.

OK, maybe not. But I’m incredibly optmistic it’ll be entertaining.

That was awesome. It even looked like B.A. was unconscious in the airplane! Face looks a little too buff and not smarmy enough though.

I want to take that trailer out behind the bleachers and get it pregnant.

“Howling mad” Murdock wasn’t mad enough, it seems.

(I wanted to be him when I grew up. I’d rather not think about what that means…)

I love it when a remake comes together.

I’m so down.

That looked better than it had any right to. And I think I mean that as a compliment.

For the record, that scene was the point at which I decided that I must see this movie. It’s a pure “gamer” moment- it’s the kind of thing that I would try to do in an role playing game.

I was going to bitch that they didn’t show the pilot bailing out of the plane just as it exploded, since of course, the A-Team never actually kills any of their enemies, but on review I saw they were being attacked by an unmanned drone. The more of the ridiculous tropes from the original show (let’s lock this team of dangerous and highly capable men in a fully equipped and stocked machine shop for 12 hours), the better.

My inner child loved this. I was raised on a steady diet of A-Team reruns growing up.

I didn’t even know they were making this.

Awesome.

It looks like someone understood what made the original so good(bad:D)

Rather unusual from Hollywood, I’m hopeful.

My inner ten year old is jumping up and down with excitement right now. I especially loved the slight hints of that wonderfully 80’s theme song playing throughout the trailer.

And muldoothief is absolutely right, their needs to be a scene in this movie where the team gets locked in a shed for an afternoon and they kitbash a tank together from spare parts and grease.

I’m gonna add too…it will be interesting to hear the reactions of people who are like me.
I am about 80% aware of everything of the A-Team…but never seen an episode in my life. I wonder how much of the movie I will “get” or “miss”…depending on who it’s aimed at ya know?

Yeah, it could be the greatest movie of all time.

Or it could stink.

Or anywhere in between. I’ve seen too many movies where they put all the good stuff into the trailer, leaving nothing behind for the movie.

“Shut up, fool!”

I hope so, too. Series creator Stephen J. Cannell is listed as one of the producers.

Watch the clip again - at around 0:39.

I’m just surprised it’s taken them this long to do a movie of that concept. It’s a natural.

Though I’ve got to say that there is NO way they will ever manage to find a better B.A. than Mr. T. Whole show was built around him on purpose.

I think it will be worth dropping some $$ on a matinee showing.
