And yet we have his former assistant, who recorded rudy discussing his groping ways.
I would love for the people around rudy that day to testify to his activities. I suspect the words “sauced” and “shit faced” would be common. (To be clear, the consensus was that he was drunk on election night, but I have no reason to believe that January 6 was any different).
“I had to take off the electronic equipment,” Giuliani told WABC. “And when the electronic equipment came off, some of it was in the back and my shirt came a little out, although my clothes were entirely on. I leaned back, and I tucked my shirt in, and at that point, at that point, they have this picture they take which looks doctored, but in any event, I’m tucking my shirt in. I assure you that’s all I was doing.”
If you watch, that’s not at all what it looks like.
Given all of the allegations since then, it’s even harder to believe.
I went and tried it, only to find my location wasn’t turned on. So instead, it put me at Wallis and Futuna in the middle of the South Seas Islands. (I swear I’ve never been there, but maybe that’s where my dreams have been taking place? I got nothing)
Anyway, I think Giuliani should go down in history as an object lesson taught to kids of what happens to formerly respectable prominent persons when they fall into corruption—what a steep, ugly fall it is.
He was critical of Trump as long as he thought Trump had no chance of winning and was going to go away as he had in the past when he’d flirted with trying to seek the nomination.
Once Trump became “the guy” he did a complete 180.
He’s like that stereotypical character in an 80s film that bullied and/or mocked the protagonist before they did something to become popular, and then starts acting like they’ve always been their friend.
