I’m right there with ya on the Twitter thing. And, I had the misfortune of watching a Transformers movie from the front row. I think I still have a headache from it.
The only flaw I see in the author’s reasoning is that Trump and Giuliani would keep quiet. I’m sure if the witness was Trump and his appeals didn’t go through, he’d have bitched about it on Twitter at the very least. Trump isn’t clandestine about anything, unless it involves his tax forms.
It’s funny you should say that, because have you noticed that Trump hasn’t mentioned Mueller in October? It seems like for a while there he was attacking Mueller every day by name in pretty strenuous terms and then maybe six weeks ago it just . . . stopped. The only way this makes sense to me is if his lawyers have beat him down about all these tweets appearing as exhibits in support of something.
But that was also before he had the approaching Doom Armageddon Of Death Caravan to concern himself with. He’s a worried man, now.
Trump embraces the fleeting nature of the Internet. Whatever embarrassing soul-crushing disaster made instantly known to millions gets replaced the next day by something just as horrible that happens to somebody else. In Trump’s case, the incoming tide of nation-overthrowing immigrants replaced Mueller.

He’s running his so-called presidency like a reality TV show and the only thing that matter is THAT DAY’S RATINGS. The ratings meter zeroes out every morning.
If it works, then the greater issue isn’t Trump, it’s that now everyone knows that it works.
So. . . a special investigation being conducted by the Dept of Justice of the USA, on behalf of the American public, whose budget is wholly funded by taxpayer dollars, over $17 million of which has been spent on this investigation. . . how is it possible that the public will not get to see the final report?

Trump only just released the FBI documents on JFK. We will get the report. That doesn’t mean that we’ll get it in any time to make use of it.
You can pretty much kiss ALL those tax dollars goodbye, regardless of what they are being spent on.
