A Thread for the Mueller Investigation Results and Outcomes (Part 1)

“Professor Misfud?”

The writers have really outdone themselves with this one! That’s [del]Bond villain[/del] Batman villain quality, right there!

The networks don’t seem to have this story. Doesn’t the Palmer report have a pretty bad rep?

How about Business insider?

It has been reported elsewhere, but not heavily. The linked article has a link to the motion to withdraw, but access to the document appears to be blocked from the U.S.

The correct spelling appears to be “Mifsud.” A google search of mifsud papadopoulos in the last 24 hours doesn’t pull up any MSM sources… but plenty of questionable ones. <shrug>

Regarding their reasons for withdrawing, there might be a hint in a statement from one of his attorneys in September when asked about some of Papadop’s tweets: “Most of our clients listen and follow all of our advice, some follow most of our advice, some follow some of our advice, some follow none of our advice.”

Yes, the withdrawal is a matter of public record. Professor Mifsud’s reappearance is the :dubious: bit.

Does The Atlantic and MSNBC count?

You’re right to be suspicious though… I would like to have confirmation from the Senate side, to be honest.

Now Trump has gone almost a full day so far without a tweet. Fairly unusual.

If you can trick him into saying his name backwards, he will dematerialize into the Nth Dimension,

At first, I thought it was the new way Cheeto was spelling “misfired”.

OK, we get it. Them foreigners sure have funny names.

Sen. Jeff Flake, lame duck from Arizona, announced today that he will use his position on the Senate Judiciary Committee to block any nominees until Mitch McConnell allows a Mueller Protection bill to come to the floor for a vote.

This is a bold move – practically Profiles in Courage-ish, for this congress. Of course his courageous stand is only effective for the next month or so, so I don’t see any reason McConnell can’t just wait until the next Congress is sworn in, without Flake.

Jeff Flake could have derailed the Kavanaugh nomination with a ‘No’ vote in committee hearings in September, but he didn’t, even though he was already a lame duck.

Fuck him.

Michael Avenatti has been arrested on a domestic violence charge.

And is Jacob Wohl behind this one as well?

I’m beginning to understand why the kid’s such a big Trump fan. They’re kindred spirits…can’t keep their mouths shut even when it would be better for them to do so.

Jeff Flake is a pathetic little weakling.

Why, exactly? At least he’s a GOP with some anti-orange DNA in him.

Not that it actually informed his voting record while it counted.
