They thought it was just politics, and they never thought there would be an investigation.
“Tee hee hee, we fucking stole an election…but we’re not actually criminals or anything.”

Does anyone else remember when Giuliani boasted that there was some big info on Hillary that was about to be released? Then a coupe of days later the emails came out. Was that ever followed up?
I’m pretty sure Rudy actually had heads up from the NY FBI office about the Anthony Weiner laptop.
Hey, speaking of that guy- is he still Trump’s attorney? Did he vanish or something? For a while he was everywhere, opening his eyes wide suddenly during interviews, now I don’t see him so much.
Also, just to elaborate - Assange, Manafort, & Wikileaks may all deny that Manafort never met Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy, but one of the sources on which the Guardian is relying is Ecuador’s intelligence agency, Senain.
Apparently, someone in Ecuador is finally tired of Assange’s brand.
Speaking of which, where is Rudy?
Presumably, doing something more important than running PR interference.
Giuliani was in the news tonight:
Giuliani Says Now Is Not the Time for a Manafort Pardon

Apparently, Rudy also is the source that said the Manafort’s lawyers were conferring with Trump’s after the Manafort’s plea deal.
At least one thing he’s been doing has been being the Trump lawyer part of Manafort attorney relayed info about Mueller probe to Trump lawyers.
I’m not a lawyer, but I’m pretty sure some of these folks are on their way to getting disbarred at a minimum if they haven’t opened themselves up to criminal charges.
Also:
Trump suggests he has inside information on the Russia probe, hours after Mueller said former campaign chief Manafort violated plea deal
We should really put this out to pasture, I think we’ve milked it for all it is worth.
Other recent news has confirmed that embassies tend to have cameras in or around them so when a person (or 15 persons and a bone saw) think they are getting away with something sneaky by hiding under diplomatic cover they end up finding out that there’s still a record of their comings and goings. An investigator could also ask any of the staff who work there.
Could you describe the American visitor?
…He’s white… he’s old.
Does he look like a bitch?
Actually…
Vox offers analysis of a reportedly leaked document from the Mueller probe, and speculates on what it signifies
I know it was a typo; however, I do like the term coup of days for the following reasons:
[ul][li]day of reckoning[/li][li]day of comeuppance[/li][li]day of judgment[/li][li]day of doom[/li][li]day of truth[/ul][/li]
Yeah, let’s have all of these at once and make it a real coup against the ignorant orange in the White House!
It says MAGA MAGA TEKEL UPHARSIN
Grandpa is being extra ranty on twitter again, going so far as to call for jailing his own deputy attorney general, and many others that appear to be linked as people he doesn’t like, for treason.
<golf clap>
Well, that’s one way to get them off his lawn.
Win.
Let’s go to the quarry and throw stuff down there! Brilliant!
“President Trump said Tuesday that Paul Manafort and Julian Assange did indeed meet on occasion to discuss how collusion was a bad thing they would “never, ever” do.”
That’s horribly-written satire. The president’s quotes are too coherent.
