Lawfare has a new article on the mystery case. It says that one of the Mueller attorneys who might be involved is Zainab Ahmad. She is an Arabic speaker and a counterterrorism and international extradition expert.
If she is involved, it might be a Middle Eastern company.

Looks like my guess that it would be Eric Prince that will be hauled in, in January, to start the process of building an anti-Saudi case against Trump will probably prove incorrect:

Looking at only news articles from 2016, it looks like Trump was highly antagonistic towards Saudi Arabia towards the start of the year. Starting around November, though, suddenly he was having friendly phone calls with them and urging them to perform a US IPO. Maybe they gave him a percentage of ownership in the company?
Perhaps but there is also this from NBC involving Qatar, Nader, Broidy and Kushner.

If Flynn hadn’t been such an outrageous dickhead to Obama and Clinton I’d almost have sympathy for someone who has otherwise lived a patriotic life. But now that I remember it, I believe he was the former general who had the nads to get up on national television, with tens of millions of people watching, and advocate the imprisonment of a political opponent. That’s not patriotic; that’s the behavior of someone auditioning for a role in a military junta.

Apparently the talking heads at Faux News were totally convinced that Judge Emmett Sullivan was going to smack down the prosecution, vacate the guilty plea and set Flynn free yesterday. Instead of what really happened.

Giuliani deserves his own Bullshit thread. A few days ago he said “no one” signed that letter. When the letter with signature was displayed on TV he said that it was a “bullshit letter” — “Of course” Trump signed it but “It means nothing but an expression of interest that means very little unless it goes to a contract and it never did.”
Hannity and Coulter are better bullshit artists than the 3rd-string rummies working in the White House. But I guess someone who needs to bilk a charity to pay his son’s $7 boy scout fee can’t afford the best.
Question for our resident lawyers: Do you think that Rudy G is a competent lawyer (based on what you’ve seen). In other words, if he agrees to bring Trump into a room with Mueller, would it go as planned or would it end in epic disaster?
At this point, any current or future defense counsel for Trump may be analogous to a surgeon at Parkland hospital on 11/22/63 - there just might not be much that can be done to save the patient
