Can a lawyer chime in here? Isn’t it too late to pardon someone if they’ve already given sworn testimony?

If Trump gets impeached or even jailed, what will Fox do?
- act like nothing happened and Trump is still president
- that won’t fly for long…
- say it was a coup by Democrats
- surely they’re not that crazy 'cause that might lead to a civil war, or at least there will be a lot of assassinated Democrat politicians
- it was a coup by Republicans
- not a civil war but those assassinations would happen and the victims would be Republicans
- they just admit that Trump was a crook and that they lied to public
- they would lose all credibility after that
- they say that nobody could have guessed Trump was a crook. And then people would point out that “fake media” said it all the time
- no credibility after that
- bosses say that the staff was incompetent and they will replace them with competent ones
- who believes that those ( apparently incompetent ) bosses can pick competent staff this time, and there goes the credibility
Do Fox have any good options ?

Flynn Jr hasn’t tweeted in 24 hours. That’s the longest he’s gone without tweeting since Twitter.
The easy way to frame it, to me, is that it’s all a hit job from “establishment” politicians (whether Republican or Democrat) that didn’t like Trump’s way of doing things/handling himself, so they took him down. If I were a supporter of Trump, that’s exactly what I would be looking at this situation as (assuming my support of Trump includes full faith in him.)
Fox would just put all their eggs in Pence’s basket and say they always wanted that.
No, a person can be pardoned anytime. (even after they’re dead, I think)
But, the sworn testimony is still the sworn testimony. The pardon doesn’t erase it.
They’ll have enough evidence to impeach her any day now. 
But that defeats the purpose of pardoning him as far as Trump is concerned, no?
Nah, they’d just keep on talking about Hillary’s emails, the Clinton foundation, uranium, Benghazi, etc., as they’ve been doing, and when they had to talk about Pence, they’d talk about him as if he’d been President all along, in an ‘Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia’ sort of way.
There’s a comedian in every crowd. 
It will be some version of 5. Their audience doesn’t watch “fake media”. They are also covered by the few voices over there that do call out Trump. They can point to “warning signs” that Trump wasn’t a true believer from their own “real” media.
I was hoping this would drag out longer at one point, for various reasons. Now I want Trump gone ASAP, before he starts a nuclear conflict. I hope this means the end is getting closer.
