They still managed to arrest Roger Stone this morning. For free. this one was on the house.
He got out on bail pretty quick. Any thoughts on him running, or Russians “taking care of” him?
Personally I don’t care if they do, as long as they wait until AFTER he’s been squeezed for information.

In a previous life/career we bid on doing a house on that block. In a previouser life/career we laughed at Ft Lauderdaliens for their presumption that they could afford us.
We can switch it up. Waterboard one day, thumb screws the next, branding the following, etc.
In Arrested Development they were only dealing with light treason.
Given that Stone is a pretty damn unreliable witness, his testimony on what he did or did not talk with the Russians, with Wikileaks, or with any other source is pretty well useless. The documentary record - which likely is missing huge chunks of conversations that took place over phone, Whatsapp, and other mediums - is probably all that can really be used and we have that whether we have Stone or not. Really all we can hope for, out of his arrest, is that they might have snagged a few of his devices while arresting him.
If he runs, it’s better for those of us wishing that some segment of the population will accept that Trump corruptly worked with foreign intelligence to steal the election, so I vote that Stone runs. And that if he does run, that he go to Russia.
He claims to have no passport. If he does, I’m betting the FBI have it in custody, and that the Stoner’s name and picture are prominent on the Do Not Fly list.
Yes, I know it’s an obvious nickname. I just couldn’t help it. His face looks like someone hit with a pillow about a bazillion times.

What a relief, to finally see someone in government speaking the truth in a forthright manner.

Dumb question - conspiracy is two or more people agreeing to commit a crime, but what is “taking advantage of a crime after it’s been committed”? I’m wondering if there’s a possibility that this was the Russians approaching the Trump campaign with the results of their crime and the campaign just took what was given to them.
Not sure how if the crime was committed to specifically help a certain party would tie in.
