A truer webcomic there has never been (cat related)

Cat = you say stupid things.

Honestly, this could not be more accurate if it tried. It can also be applied to puppies and babies.

Oh, and since I did mention a cat in the title, here are a couple cats. (Not mine, just random ones on the net.)

Yeah, I saw this on stumbleupon and fervently agree. Truer comic has never been.

Q.E.D.

Several times a day, I find myself saying to a cat who has just entered the room, “Cat! You’re a kitty cat! And you dance, dance, dance and you dance, dance dance!”

Hmph! My cats are always asking me to explain quantum mechanics to them.

I love xkcd. Exploring the archived comics on that site is well worth it.

Well, duh!

But you don’t explain it to them, do you? No, you say, “You’re a kitty! Oh, yes you are!”

I don’t talk like that to my cat. I tend to just meow at him.

You’re a kitty!

Meow!

Who’s a kitty? WHOOOOO’s a kitty?

You a kitty cat you just a kitty CAAAaaat…yes you AAaare…

“I’m going to EAT YOU FOR DINNER!”

“AUGH IT’S A CAAAAT!”

“You’re fuzzy!”

I wish I had two more hands, so I could give that website four thumbs up!

Ahhh I love xkcd. I agree that it’s a good idea to read through the archives - a good way to waste the afternoon. Don’t forget to read the mouse-over text for the comics, either - it has a hidden joke!

My love of xkcd aside, I’m not like that with cats. When a cat enters the room the most I’ll ever say is a monotone “Oh, hello cat.” Even if I know the cat’s name. And I might wave. Does that make me weird? (I’m a cat person, too)

I have picked up my cats and danced them around the room while singing this. Probably I need therapy.

Does anyone else greet cats, even cats they know, as “catso”?

Since we’re doing naked truths on XKCD, I’d have to rate this one very high on the truthiness scale.

Oh, my God, I did that this morning!

I have xkcd on my RSS-fed to my LJ! Along with TwoLumps, of course.

For some reason I’ve started talking to one of our cats in German. She seems to respond differently than she does to English or my pitiful attempts to speak Basic Feline. Apparently “Farfegnugan” means something in Cat.

Often, I’ll offer my cat sympathy for all the hardships she must face.

“Oooooh, it’s so hard to be a kitty. I know. Poor, poor kitty cat.”

She appreciates my concern.

Actually, this one’s more appropriate for the Dope.
