I have a new coworker whose presentations would be great for a drinking game: drink one shot every time he says/asks “ok?” and you’d be smashed by the third slide. He does it after every sentence and, when showing a computer screen, after reading the name of every field. When he inputs a numeric code, after every two or three figures :smack:

BBQ pulled pork sammich and fries for lunch. YUM! Compliments (well complimentary after I paid for it) of Sunny’s BBQ. MOOOOOOM knows what I"m talkin’ about.

Ikea hot dogs for lunch! Yum! Well, no. Edible. And we got some fingerpaints and a fleece throw and the kids had a good time.

LiLi Ikea hot dogs? Did you have to put 'em together yourself? I picture an Ikea hot dawg as a pig, a butcher knife, a meat grinder, onions, and various condiments in a box. What? Everything else from Ikea comes in a box and has to be put together.

ETA: MOOOOOOM if it’s any consolation, Sonny’s is not as good as it used to be. Seriously. It’s still good but not the same quality as say five years ago.
Yeah. You go out back and have to take apart a cow with an Allen key. Apparently in Norway and Sweden they eat a lot of hot dogs and so it’s a genuine Swedish thing.
Burritos and painkillers for me. My wisdom teeth are just gradually coming in, and they’ve been killing. I don’t have to have them yanked yet, but man, teething hurts and I fully sympathise with my baby.
**FCD **didn’t want dinner since they did a potluck at work, so daughter and I did Bad Chinese. Now I’m going to assume the knit position.

I’ve been lounging all day, eating soup and tea and citrus and tea. Big fun. I feel a lot better, but would love to be able to take tomorrow off as well. Maybe Firday?
I’ve been knitting and am about 2/3 done with my first hobo glove for me. It’s the best one so far.
Back to knitting and watching mindless stuff (so far today, I’ve watched a German movie online, 27 Dresses, several episodes of Psych, and two episodes of Bones. Why, yes, I* have* been a couch potato today; why do you ask?

The one sportsmens club I belonged to held board meetings in the club bar.
The wives caught on when the meetings went weekly and took 4-8 hours each.
And we strapped our pool cues to our briefcases.
They may have caught on and objected earlier but to be honest I think they were glad to get rid of us once a week.
