A year in MMPs – some statistics and stuff

The first in my experience, I think. I haven’t been around since the beginning, though.

I’m so excited!

Ooooh, I can’t believe it’s already so close to your due date! Squee!

Oh, by the way, I put up my pincurl fiasco pics in a seperate thread. Go and point and laugh if you want. :stuck_out_tongue:

Love to, but my stupid work blocks Photobucket, despite everyone I know here yelling about it. I’ll look from home. Or something.

no pointing, no laughing. You’re adorable in curls.

Off to stroll slowly to the store. The oven should get a new thermostat tomorrow. The repair guys asked if I was busy on the 11th, so he could come by then. Um, planning for next week is not happening, dude. Fix it now.
And Haze, I think you look cute, too.

so does mine, but sometimes I can sneak in . . .

Not kosher ones, that’s for sure.

Are you at UCF? Did I know this and forget??

I’m home early - just decided to take the afternoon off, because. I’ve got a fire started because it’s cold and gonna stay cold. 'Cept they’re saying we might see 60 on Monday. What bizarro weather.

I was talking to one of the group leader types at work and apparently our new CO has decided we shall henceforth concentrate our efforts on 2 and only 2 countries of interest. And, of course, the one I’ve been working for the last 2 years isn’t selected, nor is the new one I started studying 6 months ago. Crap. They’re just trying to hasten my departure, I swear!!!

**GT ** - I did the OP this week. Someone else, apparently **rosie ** ;), volunteered for next week. But that still means the 14th is open. You’re welcome.

As an aside, last night I was looking up names of folks I just happened to be thinking about, and I think I may have found my high school French teacher. His last name is a bit unusual, and I knew he used to live in Bel Air, MD. Well, I got an address and it looks really familiar, so I’m guessing I wrote to him once upon a time, or I looked him up when I was still living at home. Anyway, I’m going to send him a note. Will it surprise him or freak him out? Or leave him scratching his head, since it’s been 35 years…?? There may be a future MMP in this adventure.

Home…sleepy…in bed…not feeling well

Good luck with the thermostat and the store LiLi

Feel better mmmmmm’s!

Moooooom Monsieur Professeur Francais will either think how nice it is a former pupil made contact or be creeped out. Either way we’ll all be entertained. Please let us know.

Ok, off to [del]laugh[/del] look at Haze’s curly haid.

{{{mmmms}}}

Thanks to Rebo’s inspiration, I made a tuna noodle casserole for supper. It’s gonna be ready in a few minutes - yummmmmm.

I’ve had a nice fire going since I got home, so this room is toasty and comfy. I expect the bedroom end of the house is less cozy - that’s what electric blankies are for.

Well, the timer is about to beep - off to chow down…

I am awake now. But I’m not doing very well. Off to make my grocery list.

There are people who actually LIKE tuna noodle casserole?? :dubious: I do not comprehend.

I picked up a couple pre-seasoned salmon fillets at the store the other day and those and some risotto are going to be our dinner.

Haze, your hair is… um… big.

{{{Pie & mmms}}}

I’m taking tomorrow off for an All About Taxi Day. OK so I have to take the cat to the vet. And I have to clean a bit. But other than that, it’s all about MEEEEEEEEE! See y’all Monday!

Thanks for the comments/compliments guys. Of course today of all days a friend called and wanted to hang out, giving me no time to do anything with my hair. Fortunately said friend was a guy so with my hair clipped back he didn’t notice doodly.

I’m going to finish cross-stitching the dress part of the sampler tonight. By God, I will.

What’s not to like? Tuna, noodles, peas, mushrooms, chopped onions, white sauce (I make mine with mashed cauliflower) and cheese. Yummerrific!

Still no chocolate, in fact, no dessert-like substance in the house. Bummer. But the fire is still toasty, so there’s that. Plus it’s almost Firday! YAY! I plan to leave early tomorrow, too.

While we were eating, I got a call from a girl who talked to me at the sucky craft show I did - she wants 2 caffeine mugs, so I’m taking them to her work on Saturday. All I have to do is find them - I think they’re in the box labeled “mugs” Anyway, yay for that.

Just woke up from a 3 hour nap and took some more medicine. Not sure if I feel better or not…

Thanks for the hugs everyone - wanna snotty kiss in return?

Cute curls Haze

mmmmmmm what I really like to do when I have teh sick is sleep, take meds, sleep, take meds, sleep…

The chili was/is yummerific! The cornbread sticks are yummerific too! YAY!!! Nice warm food on a cold, cold night. YAY!!!

OK…I blame jet lag…and alcohol. I’ve just giggled my way through the possums and racoons and corrections to our schedule. If I have it wrong, well…just somebody make sure to start it on Monday (rosie!).

So, I haven’t imbibed all that much, but we did have red wine with dinner tonight and then another glass while playing this oddly compelling train game which involves trying to build train lines between two cities that are listed on a card that you draw at random. Also there are points that I didn’t understand, well, the point of. But it was lots of fun.

We also opened Christmas presents finally, since it was the first evening that we’ve been all alone (the 5 of us). And looked at pictures from our trip to Chicago in September. (Which reminds me, I need to go back to find Haze’s pictures of our Dopefest.)

Goddaughter and I also played this really fun labyrinth game this afternoon. I keep thinking I should own more board games…

Anyway, it’s 1:10 a.m. and I really ought to be in bed…

Hugs to all…

GT

Nice to see you stop by, GT!

Ok, my latest mini-meltdown has ended. Unfortunately to placate my insanity I had to send one of my employees to Sam’s club instead of going myself. I don’t know why I’m so terrified of leaving the house lately.

The good news, I guess, is that I have three lunches tomorrow! And, by the end of the day I should finally be caught up on my bills for December.
