I have sectoral heterochromia (which is to say that one quarter of my right eye is brown while the rest of it is gray, like my left.). I was trolling the interweb today and found Cecil’s article about different eye color, and I was wondering if there are any mentions of heterochromia in any sort of ancient folklore or legends that Cecil or anyone reading this might know about. Thanks.

Hopefully, someone will be along with some additional info on your question.
I don’t know if the column mentions it, but I believe prior threads also created in response to the column made mention of the term, mostly because someone said I’ve got it in my left eye (which doesn’t match my right eye)
whoa cool. that left eye looks kinda cloudy, though. not a cataract, i hope?
I think it’s just an artifact of the flash. Seems to be in working order at any rate, and the eye doc hasn’t started muttering or anything.
haha, muttering. There’s a level at which medical conditions become severe enough that the doctor will tell you. Below that threshold, they’ll just mutter.
My cat has eyes like that…one green, the other blue with a green section at the bottom. Unfortunately we can’t mange to get good pictures of her eyes.
shouldn’t your sn then be kittengreenblue?
