More specifically I’m looking for the high and low for a day from last October. Is there a site that has this data compiled? Thanks in advance!
It’d help if you could also specify what country/state/city you’re interested in. There’s lots of places that that sort of data is compiled, but not all the data is available in all the places. If you’re looking for data in, say, the US it’s not going to help you much for me to give you the link for a weather service in Australia…
I suppose I was implying the United States, that’s a my bad. Illinois more specifically.
Oops. Again, I should have stated that $Free is preferred. All I want to know is the low temperature for October 1, 2005. Do they take micropayments? haha
Four dollars isn’t too bad, but really now, I need one lousy number. Didn’t I already pay for the NOAA to collect the data in taxes once?
Save your 4 bucks rayray,
Scroll down to History and Almanac and choose your date. Daily and hourly data is available.
Try http://www.crh.noaa.gov/crh/
Actually, for Illinois, it’s http://www.sws.uiuc.edu/atmos/statecli/ “Historical Summaries”, I think
Thanks Mooloo and Bobotheoptimist! I remember hearing about Wunderground previously but it didn’t come to me when searching. Wunderground.com gave me exactly what I needed! Thanks again.
Upon review, the Illinois site I referenced wasn’t nearly as useful as some others from NOAA. Sorry.
Yeah… what Mooloo said…
Remember the Weather Underground? Those meanie political hotheads? Well, they now run an excellent weather website.
(It’s called Weather Underground, but I don’t think it’s the same folks, actually )
