Pisses me off when I read stuff like that.
Then my second-level reaction kicks in. I take a mental X-acto knife to the offending post and put the sliced-out clipping into my file of gender attitudes.
He makes a good example to point to. He isn’t unique in such reductionisms, they’re still prevalent. People make generalizations (and pass along generalizations that were already made by others) and treat them as universal truths that don’t have exceptions. Or if they take note of the exceptions, they treat the exceptions as pathetic specimens who are wrong or who can be ignored because all “real” ones fit the generalization.
And at the generalization level, they take a mild difference and exaggerate it to turn it into a polar-opposite kind of thing.
Anyway, stuff like this is why gender is more than “what body parts have you got down there”. Everyone grows up surrounded by this kind of thinking, partly leavened by more egalitarian thinking but not erased by it. Most of us internalize it somewhat and it shapes how we view the sexes. And ourselves, whether as people who fit or as misfits who don’t.
This reminds me of a Larry the Cable Guy joke:

Yah, after reading this one I see the point. I do not know him as well as you guys apparently do, but it seems awfully trollish. I mean, you can be stupid, but that stupid?
I have also wondered if he’s just trolling.
I read what everyone had to say, but not jumping to conclusions, I went and read some of the cites and posts that had been given. I quickly came to my own conclusion that he is some sort of troll. I think you have to be really bored to try some of the points he was driving at. I think he was really just trying to drum up angry speculation so he could sit back and watch the shit show unfold.

Everyone has an opinion. Some are no good. We do NOT have to respect all opinions, or even pretend to.
Statements advocating respect for everyone’s beliefs and opinions are a trick.
Simply having an opinion or belief does not merit respect.
People must be willing to question hold people accountable for what they profess to thinking or believing.
Views that cannot be defended against the questions or criticism of others do not earn respect, nor do they deserve it.

Then there is the claim that the DNC “got” all the newspapers to endorse Hillary. I still wonder how they did that.
He is right that these two are the most disapproved-of presidential candidates in living memory (my presidential campaign memory goes back to Kennedy-Nixon). Somehow he takes that to mean that Trump is somehow brave and admirable for soldiering on, while Clinton is desperate and pathetic.
Well, we know only that he scored above the 50th percentile of the ursine IQ distribution.
