The suspect in the shooting rampage at Saugus High School has died, officials said Friday. The suspect, Nathaniel Tennosuke Berhow, 16, died at 3:32 p.m. Friday. He was a junior at the school.

After shooting five classmates on Thursday, Berhow shot himself in the head, investigators say. At the time he was hospitalized in critical condition. He had not been formally charged with the shooting before he died.

I was really hoping he’d pull through. So he could spend the rest of his life in prison for what he did. I’m not sad he’s dead, but I’m not happy either.
