Actors/Actresses who've done porn.

Hey, I posted that link to show that she CAN be considered an actress. :wally

I suppose my snarky comments following the link threw you off.

My IMDB listing has two entries.

I’ve seen it. Sigh.

There are some… interesting… screencaps if you care to search for them.

Has that ever been verified?

The correct title of the Star Trek episode is “The GAMESTERS of Triskelion”.

It is difficult to classify “Barbarella” as porn, though it is nice looking at Ms Fonda’s “talents”. Still, it was quite daring for its time (1968). Let’s not forget it was a “prudish” time - despite the sexual revolution of the 1960’s.

Heck, the movie “Midnight Cowboy” (1969) was given an ‘X’ rating. Here’s a link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064665/trivia
(scroll halfway down).

Hardcore actress Kobe Tai was the first one to die in Very Bad Things.

Ai Iijima made a steady transition from hardcore to softcore to TV bimbo to respected commentator. A few years back she published her autobiography, Platonic Sex, which was made into a movie and a TV miniseries.

I can’t recall any of the names at the moment, but I remember being at a friend’s house in the late '90s while his daughter was watching a Japanese Ultraman/Power Rangers-type show, starring a group of adults who flew around in bad special effects fighting an evil alien queen who looked like a supermodel in bondage gear and had a team of henchmen dressed in full-body monster outfits. Anyway, we realized that the alien queen was a hardcore actress who was still doing porn, while one of the members of the hero team was a model-actress who had just released a book of nude photos of herself.

Definitely a different set of standards over here. A good thing, in my opinion.

Thora Birch’s parents. They met on the set of Candy Goes to Hollywood. If you are as inquisitive as I am, always in the name of science, you will notice the valuable heirloom from the female side of the family does not change with time. :stuck_out_tongue:

Especially yours.

Gay porn star Matthew Rush appeared on stage in “Making Porn”.

The British film “9 Songs”, starring Kieran O’Brien and Margo Stilley, features real (and explicit) sex. Stilley was an unknown at the time of filming, but O’Brien had featured in a host of mainstream films. He’ll now be remembered for close-ups of his dick (and rightly so, IMO. ;))

Bob Guccione’s ‘Caligula’ was a hard-core porn film which starred, among others, Malcolm McDowell, Helen Mirren, and Peter O’Toole (that’d be a great name for a porn star, btw). It was also written by Gore Vidal.

Anyway, I’m not sure the actors knew it was going to be porn. I seem to remember that Guccione inserted the hardcore stuff later, to the protests of the mainstream stars. But I could be wrong.

One of my faves is Kristy Allen.

She’s made a pretty good career playing small roles in TV and Movies, and has recently made some real progress in the HBO show Unscripted. Early on she was in the Softcore Emmanuelle series on skinemax.

Let it be known that she is simply the hottest woman I have ever seen.

Damn it!

She also had a few small roles in mainstream movies before “Behind the Green Door.”

Nonsense. Even though Barbarella was made in English, it was filmed in Europe, had an Italian producer, a French director, and a mixed-European crew. European movies had been regularly featuring nudity for a full decade before Barbarella appeared. Even I Am Curious (Yellow), with its full-frontal nudity and actual penetration scene, came out a year before Barbarella.

And they toned down the comic strip, which wasn’t shy about nudity. Nude women in European comic strips was a commonplace even back then. They even had an American equivalent in the Adventures of Phoebe Zeit-Geist, written by Michael O’Donoghue for Evergreen magazine.

You can’t compare European filmmaking with what was going on in the U.S. at the time. They were two different worlds, shown in different sets of theaters, and mostly with different actors. Fonda was involved only because she happened to be married to Roger Vadim, who, it should be remembered, became famous for displaying his first wife’s naked body on the screen. Name of Brigitte Bardot.

He was also in Boondock Saints

Huh, I didn’t know that.

I always read (and saw one) that he was the narrator.

Which makes one wonder what those titles might be.

I will admit that I view things through my American perspective and tend not to think outside of that world. Every now and then, I need a “reminder” such as yours.

I really should get out more.

Adam West had a brief part in one of the happy Hooker movies - I think HH Goes to Hollywood. if I recall right, he got some goodies poolside, but I don’t remembetr it being all that explicit, just a bit dosconcerting to see Batman out of costume. It also wasn’t something that his “career” necessarily made a comeback from either.

Which makes one wonder why you don’t check his IMDB listing.

Cameron Diaz was in a S&M video named “She’s no angel” at the tender age of 18
