Adaher 2016 cycle election prediction thread

And I bet we’re all going to have lots of fun looking back at these predictions.

Here’s a recent prediction, but it’s more a combination of previous predictions, I think:

I don’t really see much of a prediction in there, except that it won’t be “Trump of Clinton.” And I’m not entirely sure what that even means.

My list of possible Presidents is earlier in the thread. Trump and Clinton are not among them.

Me neither, but our friend seems to be betting heavily on Rubio and absolutely certain Clinton can’t win because of her “unfavoribility” percentages. He doesn’t factor in any of the batshit crazy that is the current GOP field, just Hillary’s supposed “untrustworthiness”.

Why factor in the batshit crazy? It’s never been a general election factor before. Why expect it to finally happen this time? We let out our primal scream during the primaries and then get serious when it actually comes time to select our nominee.

Because this time the GOP field is nothing BUT batshit crazy!

Yeah, heard that before too.

Now that you’re giving up on Kasich too, who *are *you confident of now?

I was supporting Kasich. I never predicted who would win the nomination. I still support John Kasich.

You frequently implied Koch Kuck Kasich had some sort of a plausible chance of making it big.

And I still think he’s got a chance. Just not as much of one as when he started. He assured supporters he’d learned from his failed 2000 run but it looks like he’s just making different mistakes now.

Kasich only has a “chance” in the sense that doing so won’t (at least to my knowledge) violate the laws of physics.

What do you intend this to mean?

Kasich never had a chance, never will. He is, however, a wonderful example of the best in animatronics and embalming.

Can you link to it or reproduce it here? I skimmed that thread, and all I saw (other than the quoted post) was a bunch of discussion around the VP. I probably just missed it, but it’d be nice to have your predictions aggregated in one place.

It’s in post #2 of this thread. This is the thread for aggregating addy predictions.

That makes sense… I thought he was claiming that he had a (potentially different) list of presidents in the thread that had been quoted that he was responding to. This certainly makes more sense.

Exactly What It Says on the Tin-that is, Kasich is a tool of the plutocratic class. Also a very nice alliteration.

Well, I got the Koch and the Kasich, since they’re both names, but I am still unfamiliar with the word Kuck. Gibberish that is “Exactly What It Says on the Tin” is still gibberish.
