Sounds ya’ll are doing well but playing it close to the edge. I am irking and been irking late. Tonight is a charity event with Steve Wariner playing. He is a Country guitar player, supposed to be hella good, kinda of Chet Atkinsy. I don’t know yet as he didn’t come to soundcheck. His guitar player has a 59’ strat, worth more than it should be for reference Matt’s 61’ is worth about $30k. Well gotta get back to irk

Just about packed to go see Cousin Scott, who also happens to be part of my Swedish lineage. This is one of those things you hate to do, but wouldn’t miss for the world.

Owowowowowowowowowow. I’ve been brushed by a stinging nettle once and some relative of it once. Both times I thought, “Eh, I can tough it out.” An hour later I’m running for the cortisone cream.
I guess I’m off tomorrow. No one’s called me and said different. It’s that slow tonight and tomorrow it’s not even worth having someone come in to man the desk. I think Mr. Mississippi’s working five hours tomorrow and that’s it. That’s the slow season for you.

I made my up my own salad tonight. Mixed field greens, baby carrots, crimini, baby portabella, and oyster mushrooms, dried cranberries, and sliced palm hearts. All topped with ranch dressing, shredded sharp cheddar, and black pepper.

I has a blurf. I stayed up too late last night watching a film, should have gone to bed much earlier than I did so today I am tired. Fortunately I get to leave at 3pm today so I can go home and sleep!
OK, so I won’t sleep when I get home, I’ll be doing battle with the Wii and then making chilli for dinner so there will be sleep, but it will be much later.
Moooom, I have a Fatboy too, but mine has four legs and a tail, purrs a lot and likes to snooze on my lap.

I woke just before 2 this morning and finally dozed off again some time after 4. It took everything I had to drag myself into the shower and get ready for work. I arrived here shortly after 6. The building was locked up. I don’t have a key - all I have is a badge. So I sat in my car for half an hour till one of the downstairs folks showed up. I coulda slept in!!! :mad:
Hey, didja know you can buy a Harley with a VISA? We’re going to get a metric assload of cash back this month.
What else? Puppeh is doing better. It was snowing this morning - maybe it still is for all I know. I need to stop at WalMart on my way home.

friggin snow is coming down hard
so far it is only laying in the grass not the street.
I hate snow and sah-dog ran out of food last night so I have to go out in this crap
Sah-kid is supposed to let me know before the dog runs out of food, not after - being that it’s his job to feed the dog.
Not only did sah-kid not tell me dog was low on food but he got me up this am to sign a bunch of school crap (new semester) and then I got up to drive him to school.
I cannot believe all the papers I have to sign. Every friggin class (all 8 of them) sends home a ‘rules of conduct’ sheet, a syllabus and an emergency contact sheet for me to read and sign. WTF high school kids need a ‘rules of conduct’ sheet signed is beyond me, by the time one is in high school one should know how to conduct oneself in a classroom without the teacher sending home a sheet for mommy and daddy to sign.

Sari I say take Sahkid with you to :eek:Wally*World:eek:, hand him the cash, make him buy the dog food and stand in line at checkout while you have you a refreshin’ beverage in the little snack shop. That’ll learn him! Or he’ll sulk around all evenin’. I guess these things are all kinda 50-50. As to the rules of conduct sheets, so many parents these days think their kids are such special snowflakes they don’t need to be taught how to behave, thus, such rules are invented. You, one of the good parents who bother, end up sufferin’ the consequences as does Sahkid who was taught how to behave in public. Then again, I grew up in a small town so I had to behave myself in public cause if I didn’t, word would be back to the parents before I got home. Seriously.
Ok, time to dive back in to this sea of paperirk.
