Ahhhhhh ...

… Vernors!

eh?

I’m going to guess it’s a form of alcohol, given the username and personality:)

Wow, I used to drink that all the time … yum! Just thinking about one takes me back to my mis-spent youth, it does. Wonder if they carry it at the store here?

Ginger Ale makes me feel like a kid. I had it when I had tummyaches.

mmm…ginger ale.

Person, place or thing?

None of the above. It’s a state of mind. They just put Vernors’ Ginger Ale in the soda machine here at work. Only took me about a year and a half to convince 'em it’d be worthwhile.

And - perhaps it’s sacrilege to ask - do they make diet Vernor’s now?

<sigh> I hate getting old.

Yes, dono, they most certainly do.

Thank God.

Vernors truly rocks. However the old glass bottles were the best. The plastic bottles make it taste funny so I avoid it except to make Vernors floats mmmmmmmm…
MikeG runs to the Grocery store…

The absolute best part about drinking an ice-cold Vernors is when, as you bring the glass up to your mouth, all of the little jumping carbonation-fizzies get inhaled into your nose where they do a frantic little jig. Perfection!

Isn’t a Vernors float properly called a Boston Cooler?

I can’t say I’m wild about the stuff, but every once in a while, I get a craving for it. Usually when I’m down here in Missouri where no one’s ever heard of it.

I love how it makes your eyes water when you take several long swallows from a freshly opened can.

Ahhhhhh, Vernors, Indeed!

Thanks, cher3, that’s all I needed to know. I’m checking the store as soon as I get off work.

A Vernor’s float? Intriguing!

Oops, Vernors float.

[sub]What’s that “Preview” thingy do? I’ll have to try that someday[/sub]

Barrel Aged, Bold Taste!™

Well, that can is gone. Now what?

Ahhhh, Vernors. Yum!

[sub]BURRRRRRP!!!

'scuse me![/sub]

Vernor’s is pretty good, but I prefer to drink Canada Dry.

[sub]There’s an opening here for anyone who wants it.[/sub]

I’ve tried drinking Wyoming dry a couple of times and just couldn’t do it. No way I could manage Canada.

[sub]Thanks, Slip![/sub]

I drank my beererator dry Sunday afternoon.

When I saw the name of this thread I thought, uh oh, Uncle Beer done reared back and cut a big hunk of the cheese.
