I know you all have seen the Wedding Booth and many have used the oportunity to marry one another or… themselfs.
Is it only me or has somebody else been worried about the increasing numbers of bigamy (sp?) on the bord?

Dodgy, I noticed it too … mostly because the whole marriage booth thing happened while I was * in absentia * and upon returning, it seems nearly everyone has added "virtually married to … " in their signature.
And I do find it disturbing that most of them list at least three names.
Geez, people, show some restraint! How complimentary is it if I put in my sig,

As the local pot smokin’ 19 year old hippy living in the woods (and when i say “woods” i mean i learned how to build a fire before i could build lego) may i just say loosen up folks!
I mean hell it works for the Mormans pretty well, doesn’t it? in fact, this is the first case of mass bigamy i’ve ever heard of where Women had the same oppertunity as Men.
This could also be a great problem solver. Say someone’s getting flamed in the pit, say they’re married to Person A, who is also married to Person B, who just happens to be hitched up with persons C, D and E, who just happen to be the people doing the flaming… we’re all related now folks, it’s the international brother/sister/wife/husband/brother-in-law/wife-#3-ship of the SDMB! I for one am proud to be a part of it.

Well so far I’ve limited it to one in each hemisphere to avoid uncomfortable chance encounters whilst with one of my two beautiful and darling wives. [sub]especially after meeting Nym in person-wow![/sub]

As for me, I’ll keep it at 2 wives. Any more and I’d be virtually walking around with a virtual limp. I’m worn out as it is.
It would be really complimentary, I think! I mean, you’re quite well liked around here. If you were virtually married to everyone, that would mean that everyone wanted to be virtually married to you! Cool, huh?
