Is Shift+Click not working for you?

It’s still a drag, even with shift+click. Although that’s certainly an improvement on clicking and dragging.

Better solution: Don’t die.

?? Tell me more…

if you shift+left click, the according potions will fall in the proper slots.

meaning that red pots will fall under red pots, rejuvs under rejuvs and blues under blues. If you have a naked belt with no slots, the new pot will take an empty spot and the following pots will follow. You can also buy tp scrolls and id scrolls by shift+rightclick to get ur tome all filled up, this can be done with pots and the belt, fill up ur belt with red pots. and with keys.

oh and weirddave just check out the ES website i direct you to in an earlier post, go to the features section and you will find all the crafts for the dragon stone and those scrolls. the scrolls arent really worth keeping, i think all the crafts are listed at the old version ES website, not the new one.

All crafts, runewords, cube recipes, and uniques /sets are listed at the ES website. ES mod is fun aint it…

Actually, a character with high resists and a Thundergod’s Vigor (a Lightsabre or too will also do the trick) will be healed by a MSLE’s bolts.

Decents Amazons too can deal with a MSLE. Cast Slow Missiles (it’ll limit the distance the bolts carry), let your Valk (which will have to be recast) or Merc (if it’s wearing Blackhorns or similar high resist gear) take the heat.

Now, Conviction-enchanted MSLEs are another case entirely.

This ES mod is too cool! D II is fun to play again! I am now wondering if the 1.10 patch can possibly be this good.

It probably will be better, ES mod has a few kinks in it, and WAY too many base item name changes. I think 1.10 will knock our socks off.

Just like White Lightning said, SC 1.08patch (or was it 1.07) made an impact. Gameplay wise and new feature wise. I’m hoping that 1.10 D2 will get the same sort of boost. We must also remember that 1.10D2 is most likely the last game altering patch (itemwise and character wise). The subsequent patches will most likely just handle errors in coding and only Major bugs. Man am i getting a hard on for that 1.10 patch.

ES Mod is fun, but let us prepare to get our socks knocked off our feet for 1.10D2…

Oh and i play ES 2.1, i hacked a high lvl sorc to MF (in SinglePlayer mode) using Fuzzier’s Item Creator and Shadowmaster’s Char Editor. They work for ES mod. If you need an item we could set up a time and i can give you copies of some low lvl set or unique items… that is if you need them.

Y’know, I really need to learn when to use Slow Missiles. It never even occured to me that it’d apply to Lightning Enchanted, nor that that would limit the range. And I know it was silly of me, but my Amazon’s hireling is the rogue she got 'way back when at 6th level, so not much use for blocking stuff. I know, but I’m sort of sentimental about her now :).

And I just finally got around to checking up on that ATMA program, and it’s not available yet for Mac :(. Ah, well.

The Amazon’s Passive and Magic tree is the most powerful tree in the game, IMO. Pierce, Critical Strike, Slow Missile, D/A/E, Valk and Decoy make the 'zon nearly unhittable. Throw a few points in Penetrate, and you can beat the game with normal items.

Chronos, there’s a program you can download for a Mac that will run two DII games on your harddrive, and you can get your computer to connect them, allowing you to mule items. It’s available in FAQ stickied in the Single Player forum at dii.net.

I think Munch is talking about the d2gfx.dll file. Found here.

http://www.diabloii.net/faq/sp-faq.shtml

In the middle of the page. All the instructions are there on how to go about muling. Replace/Backup your current d2gfx.dll file in your D2 folder. Host a TCP/IP game, alt-tab out, run D2 again, join that same game with another character.

I think this file works with Mac, I may be wrong…

Stated another way, once you make a .txt file, how do you ever access it again? Madawc? Munch?

Sorry, I can’t answer your question.

People say that ATMA is only really an item looker/observer. However, there is a “new” Beta ATMA muling program in the diabloii.net single players forum.

http://forums.rpgforums.net/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=32

I don’t use ATMA cuz it cant mule, and that’s why i went to the shadowmaster Char Editor. Plus it looks a lot nicer. Items can be seen, exported and imported, moved around and such in Shadowmaster. Items are .d2i 's in Shadowmaster.

Again sorry for not being able to help. Maybe try the forum i direct you to above and ask them for a little help. Those people in that forum are quite the single player fanatics.

Cool, thanks.

I’m just going to post, mostly to keep this from falling out of the first 5 pages.

I’ve been playing my newest character, it’s tough getting a decent attack rating on a necro! I wanted to try a mele necro and I have him up to lvl 48 now. His damage is ok, the leech I’m using on him is good, but if I could get his AR up to where he’d hit more than 56% of the time (Act5 NM regular monsters), I’d be thrilled. I’ve been adding just to his dex the last 4 levels just to get that high. In one more level I get to use the Crown of Thieves which will add 25 dex and 10 str. Hopefully that will help.

Two Angelic Halo rings along with Angelic Wings amulet will add about 1200 AR. You could try that.

Yeah, but I could also just get 10% life leech, +40 fir/lit resist, + 2 mana per kill and a +2 skills ammy with a good suffix.

What are you using? If you can get your hands on a Lightsabre, your to-hit worries would be over. You could also exploit the Eth bug, which adds Ignore Targets Defense to any weapon you socket it in.

I’m not sure what that has to do with AR problems. Care to expand?

I’m using mostly a unique scythe that’s a +3 to all necro skills, 181ED, and Fast attack speed (can’t remeber the name offhand). As soon as I get to put the Crown on, I’ll hit 20% life leech. I could get more, but I don’t think I need it. Now a Lightsabre would be cool, I have a unique stilleto and a lidless as my backup weapon. I wouldn’t mind using a LS with the shield instead, but I’m afraid that one of my barbs would steal it…

If I could get my hands on a Light Sabre, most of my playing problems would be over.

We’re talking about a melee necro using Grim’s Burning Dead - he shouldn’t be having AR problems that a few charms won’t solve. (Personally I’d prefer a Poison Necro using Blackbog’s Sharp or Spinegouger and tweaked for AR, or even a standard necro with Ribcracker, but that’s what we got.) I’d be looking for AR charms and to socket the GBD with an Eth or a P.Amethyst.
